    Went to Weston branch due to past quality work. This time tho not the case. When I had 4 tyres fitted to my wheels when I got home I noticed damage on 3 wheels so rang the centre was told to pop in Monday to speak to the manager.
    Monday, manager wasn’t happy that I’d contact customer service via email then tried to tell me the marks on my wheels are due to hitting curbs. I’d stated that one of the alloys has small markings on from a car wash incident. Now my old tyres didn’t have a mark on them from touching any curbs.
    My wheels except 1 was mint! Typical got the tyre shop next door to look at my wheels (suspect pre warned of my turning up) he looked over it and pointed to the spokes having what looks like curb marks to him. Missed the part between where paint has flaked off due to poor tyre fitting.
    Then the manager got me into the workshop by the tyre machine and tried to show me the tools used and a plastic guard (supposed to help protect the wheels from the head of the machine) I stated was that guard used to his reply yes… yet he wasn’t in that day. So he couldn’t confirm this. I’d pointed this out….
    he flipped out and pretty much square up to me. Professional behaviour from management hey..

    I’d then had a call from the area manager this morning and got the same story. Curb damage…. I’d stated if those wheels were previously damaged why wasn’t I informed before work was carried out or even pictures taken time/dated. I was at the centre waiting…

    I’m an engine machinist and repairs, any vehicle before it comes in the workshop gets checked over and customer informed before vehicle work is started.. common sense if you ask me.

    I am buying products from here and i dont even remember when i started buying it. one of the best thing that i know that i wasted my lots of time in shopping for Tyres and other product for my car. Also, the price varies from the company and sometimes it didn't match with my budget. but with National tyres and Autocare, i can save my money, time and strength. they provide service for test centers and oil filter changes like helpful services for my car which i outstanding.

    Took my car to the Plympton Branch and was appalled at the filthy reception area and dirty toilets, there was no hand sanitizers just a sign saying wash hands in toilet. The childrens area is a disgrace. No coffee machine.I cant believe people can work like this and not clean up.

    tyres replacement ...amp... wheel alignment

    Just booked for 4 tyres to be fitted ... front+rear wheel alignment tomorrow. Called the local Portsmouth, Rodney Rd, branch to ask if they could also investigate a clunking noise. Receptionist was extremely rude with no customer service skills or whatsoever. Was told that she's extremely busy ... don't have time to waste on the phone. I had to cancel the booking as she's very busy and doesn't care about other services that I require. She cancelled my booking within seconds. THANKS NATIONAL TYRES / HALFORDS for employing such staff who do not care about customers.

    I completely agree mate. I had a similar horrible experience with the receptionist at this branch not long ago. She thinks she owns National Tyres ... Autocare / Halfords. Booked my car for full servicing and she cancelled it as I asked if they could also flush ... replace the coolant and obvioulsly pay for tthe extra service. Was told that they don't have time to add extra and I should have done this online while booking for servivcing. Complained to Halfords but guess they don't care.

    Ordered home fitting on the 2 January for fitting on the 5th. Money taken but fitter never turned up. After 30 minutes on the phone I was advised that the fitter was 'off road' whatever that means. The next appointment available was over a week later so requested a refund. Although they can take your money immediately, they cant give it back for another 5 days. I would not recommend a company where the customer service failed at the first hurdle.
