Works fine, but the support let it down
the ordering and product were fine, delivery was fiddly and the customer service behaviour was unprofessional. I’d buy again for the product, but I’d be wary and double-check addresses and emails from the start.
That awkward delivery and the shrug
I ordered a perfume a few months back because I was in the middle of a hectic house move and wanted something small to cheer up my partner on their birthday. Silly, maybe, but I had it all planned. The tracking first said "delivery attempted". No knock. No card. Nothing. At that point I assumed a courier mix-up, not the shop's fault. I emailed them straight away and stayed polite, kept my messages clear and short. I really tried to sort it privately. Months passed with a lot of back-and-forth. Mostly general lines like "we'll look into it" and then, frustratingly, a lot of blaming the courier or implying the parcel had been delivered. That felt like being fobbed off. I repeated the details, gave order info, asked for evidence, and still there was a lot of dismissal. It got to the point where I started to wonder whether anyone was actually reading what I sent. After months I did get a partial refund. That was a relief, and, oddly, a bit of a surprise — I wasn't expecting anything after how slow things had been. But the refund wasn't the whole story. What annoyed me most was being made to feel like I was the problem. I wasn't aggressive at any point. I was patient. Calling a customer honest and then suggesting they're dishonest is not great. I kept copies of all emails and tracking; it's not hard to prove a thing like this. On the plus side, one individual later apologised properly and offered a small discount for a future purchase, which was unexpected and felt human. Still, the delivery handling and the initial customer service lines left a bad taste. Would I order again? Not likely, at least not without being sure the delivery route is solid and that someone reliable is handling follow-ups. If you care mainly about a smooth delivery and decent, accountable service, I'd be cautious.
