English has quickly become one of the most common and widespread spoken languages in the world. The need for kids to learn this language has also increased exponentially with this growth. Many countries have now accepted English as a general denominator of communication across a plethora of fields, from trade and finance to travel. This language cuts across cultures, countries, and fields. Even the internet is English. Almost every website on the internet is in English, even the English section of Wikipedia contains the most articles. Hence, if you want to use the internet (without lots of translation), you have to be fluent in English. Plus, internet use is now a key and necessary part of many jobs. Most international businesses that handle clientele, suppliers and business partners prefer to employ both native and non-native English speaking employees as this aids smooth communication in the course of their daily activities.
