The Eden Project is a visitor attraction. The visitor attraction is located in Cornwall, England. The founders of the project are called Tim Smith and Nicholas Grimshaw. The project is located in what used to be the Kaolinite Pit, the pit that was used in the TV series the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The Eden Project opened its doors in 2000. The establishment consists or two biomes that contains plants collected from diverse climates and environments. They have, for instance, a tropical biome containing tropical plants, banana fruit plants, rubber plants, bamboo, coffee plants and more. The temperature is kept at a moisture level. They also have a Mediterranean biome. Here, you can find olives, grape vines, arid plants and other plants that do well in a warm temperature. And they have an Outdoor Gardens area that includes lavender, sunflowers, tea plants, hops, hemps etc. In 2005, they added an educational centre called The Core. Besides their biomes, they offer activities such as K2 Climbing, Sky Wire, Adventure Day, Vertigo 350 Gravity etc. And they organise events like ice skating, Little Monsters Ball, Father Christmas, Gardener for a Day, MacMillan Christmas Fair, Little Eden, Roald Dahl’s Halloweden and other events. Unable to book in advance - despite diving full details and a password (written down). Even worse - unable to find anything online where we can make a written complaint - and hopefully help others. At least nothing to enable direct contact with the Eden organisation - and they need to sort their system out. Visited several years ago and otherwise it was then enjoyable.
