Reviews Make-A-Wish UK

Make-A-Wish UK create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Whether it's starring in their own films, walking with dinosaurs, going on an amazing holiday, meeting a celebrity hero, or having a life-changing bedroom makeover; our wishes are varied, personal and, most importantly, magical. A child's life shouldn't be about illness, hospitals and diagnosis - it should be about wonder, joy and hope. The effects a wish can have on a seriously ill child: creating incredible memories, building confidence and bringing happiness, to providing respite from the daily struggles that come with a life-threatening condition.

    About Make-A-Wish UK
Make-A-Wish UK is a charitable organization that wants to grant wishes of critically ill children. The company was founded in 1986. The company was inspired by Chris Grecius, a boy fighting leukemia. The first wish they ever helped come true was a trip to Disney World Florida. Now, they already realized over 11,000 wishes. They want to provide life-changing wishes for children that suffer from a critical illness. They grant all sorts of wishes. Children can create their own films, meet a celebrity, going on a special holiday with their family and other kind of things the child loves to do.

Young Oliver wished to train as a Jedi and defeat Darth Maul.

    Other aspects of Make-A-Wish
Besides making a child’s dream come true, Make-A-Wish also has some fundraising activities. Of course, you can sponsor a Make-A-Wish wish.  On their website, you can find several stories and you can decide to contribute to one or more of them. You can also make a one-off donation or regular donation to the foundation. It’s also possible to donate a white, silver or golden wish star to someone who, in your opinion, deserves it. And, last but not least, Make-A-Wish has a shop that enables you to buy products and contribute to a charity at the same time. The profit goes to the foundation so more wishes can be granted. If you want to know more, you can contact Make-A-Wish via telephone or email.
