Dencover is an insurance provider. The insurance company was founded in 2006. The company was founded because of the lack of affordable dental cover. Now, they are a part of Unum Ltd. For the time being at least, they focus only on dental insurance policies. They have four different dental insurance plans. There is a NHS plan, silver policy, gold policy, platinum policy and diamond policy. These policies offer things like routine dental check ups, scaling or polishing by a hygienist, fillings, crowns, root canal treatment, bridges, dentures, extractions, emergency dental care, dental care at a hospital etc. All of these covers are worldwide, so you will also be covered for emergency treatment abroad. Unfortunately, cosmetic treatment is not included in the policy. And they can’t provide cover for any treatments that you knew about, or were treated for 12 months before the start date of your policy.

I was happy with Dencover till they were underwritten by Unum. When that happened, I wasted a lot of time on the phone to them while they looked for my claim form, then promised they would pay my claim -- which they failed to do.
The last straw was a conversation with a young man in their (UK) call centre. I asked him what would happen to my policy if I switched dentists. He didn't know, seemingly didn't care, and didn't connect me with someone higher up the food chai.
So I cancelled my direct debit.
loved this service and really money as well time saving, go for it. give it a try :)
