Tampliners are a completely new femcare product. They have three parts: an organiccottontampon, an organic cotton mini-liner, and a virtual applicator that connects the two. Wearing a tamp-liner feels quite different from using a normal tampon. The mini-liner is worn folded between the labia, giving females extra protection against leaks. The tampon and mini-liner are connected by a breathable virtual applicator. This is made from a medical-grade, ultra-thin film that you wear inside your vagina, keeping the mini-liner in place. Callaly is a femcare outfit that claims to be at the forefront of meeting such needs. You should read honest reviews of Callaly here before considering investing in any of their products and services.
About Callaly It began with Alex, Callaly’s co-founder. After 30 years as a gynaecologist, he’d listened to thousands of women talk about their frustration with the choice of period products on the market. Most options were either uncomfortable, inconvenient or prone to leaks, and the old-fashioned retail model meant people were still traipsing to the shops to buy multiple boxes of products and absorbencies. Alex wanted to help create a better, more convenient option that solved these problems. And thus the tamp-liner was born. When Alex was happy with his design he began to stitch together prototypes with his hands. But to get the quality he dreamed of, he needed someone with better needlework skills – and first-hand experience of using tampons. He partnered with Ewa, a garment technologist with 10 years’ experience in the fashion industry, who made the first functioning tamp liner. As Callaly’s co-founder and head of product, Ewa has been painstakingly perfecting their designs ever since. Together, Callaly claimed to have designed a product that they believe in and they hope that once women tried their tamp liners, they will too. Because everyone has different needs, they’ve expanded their product selection to include tampons, pads and liners, made with organic cotton and in customizable absorbencies.

You don't get a huge number of tampons for your money and the packaging seems a little excessive for a few tiny tampons. But the main draw for me is the environmentally friendly aspect of them, being organic and biodegradable, which undoubtedly cost more to produce. They do give incentive discounts though, and a student discount is available as well, so even though you could just buy the same amount for half the price at Wilko or some other budget body care store, you can still get the price down to a reasonable level. The free shipping is also a great perk.
