Do you find the regular purchasing of shaving equipment a chore? Cornerstone's delivery business of shaving equipment is capitalising on the spike in how lucrative the shaving business is. It is aimed at people hoping to simplify a constant part of life, bringing quality products straight to your door. If you are considering changing to using their product plans, or just buying them as a one off, why not give their reviews a read to see if it is worth it, or let others know how you found them if you have already used their razors.
Cornerstone is a crowdfunded company that was founded by Oliver Bridge 2013, with the aim of simplifying the ritual of shaving. After raising £1.36m through crowd funding and more recently angel investors, they began mailing their German-designed shaving products straight to people's doors. As they have designed all their products themselves, they advertise that their range is alcohol-free, BPA-free, paragon-free and are manufactured without using any plastic microbes.
The cornerstone sales model works according to 3 simple steps laid out by the company on their website. The first and essential step is customising your plan, deciding what products you want and making sure it reflects how often you need them replaced. Second, there is free delivery of the products on the time when the customer decided they were wanted, which can be repeated as often as is needed. And finally, the customer can decide, when the deliveries should be paused, or the product plan can be altered to include new ones and get rid of others. The products that can be used in each customers plans, includes ‘German engineered” razor blades, pre-shave face scrub, shaving gel, shaving ream, post-shave balm, and a leather washbag. Their products and services have recieved complimentary reviews from Esquire, ShortList and The Telegraph.
In addition to their product delivery plan and a selection of gifts, Cornerstone also runs a blog called 15 Minutes, which publishes a wide range of articles. These of course include tips on how to make shaving and general personal care the most comfortable and effective, as well as information on the company, but they also write about fashion, travel and other lifestyle areas.
If you have swapped to Cornerstone for your shaving products, how well do you feel they delivered on their promise of efficiency and simplicity? Did you feel the quality of the razor stood out from previous razors you have used? What about the selection of creams and gels? How well recieved were the products as gifts? Leave us all your positive and negative feedback in a review so others can get an understanding of the company and so Cornerstone can hear from their customers.
