The products on the Displate website are separated into five sections: Collections, Categories, Artists, Brands, Multiplate. The Categories section offer plates related to Gaming, Illustration, Anime & Manga, Movie & TV, Animals, Architecture, Abstract, Landscape, Characters, Text Art, Vintages, Paintings and Pop Art. When choosing your category, you are also able to select your colour of choice to narrow the product range down to what you really want, the colour options are white, yellow, orange, brown, green, blue, purple, red, grey and black. Some of the popular artists are Retina, Fan Freak, Fourteen Lab and 17th & Oak. The three brands that customers have a choice of are DC, Marvel and StarWars.

I have read that its quite a hassle to do so. You first have to buy a different displate and add the club membership on top off that. You cant just solely buy the membership.
This already annoyed me a bit, but I went along and asked my father for his creditcard so i can buy one for a friend of mine as a birthday gift. So when my dad finally had the chance to visit me (he lives far away because im studying quite far from my parents their home) he did and we followed all instructions.
We had paid and and all went smoothly only i did not receive club membership. I thought it would take a while so after my dad left i went in to check again. Still nothing. So i contacted them and they informed me that something went wrong on their side.
They said they could cancel my order so I can try it again. I informed them of my situation and since they dont accept IDeal i couldnt repay if they would cancel this one.
I also told them the reason i wanted club membership is because i wanted a custom displate.
Here is where this story takes a darker turn. After repeadetly denying me an option to get club membership. I said i would also gladly pay for a custom displate (even extra if needed) but they couldnt find a possible way to make this happen aswell. Which is just so insane. A random stranger can litterally just get club membership, I can send them my image and they can make the displate and deliver it to my house. BUT somehow the company itself cant do this.
This is just straight up not willing to help, not trying to get a customer satisfied and overal laziness.
I have send over 20 mails back and forth with this company but they just do not want to fix it.
The service is utterly horrifying. The FAQ states that customers should cancel their orders and re-order if they wish to change their orders within 24 hours (I wanted to change my poster from matte to gloss) and Displate just COMPLETELY ignored all of my 3 attempts to contact them, both through email and through the messaging portal on their website. I am now making my fourth attempt. Don't buy from this revolting, unethical company. You deserve better.
Be careful, they will charge you 4.99 a month for their “subscription,” even if you cancel your order. They don’t notify or send receipts of this charge- so it could go on for months without you noticing. Terrible customer service.
DO NOT SIGN UP TO THE CLUb- because they won’t let you cancel.
They state they can’t and that I must find a computer to log on and cancel my subscription because this won’t work on my phone- but it keeps changing my password. I change it, save it on my phone and surprise it’s not correct the next time I log in. Pain in the jacksie for sure. . They don’t set up a direct debit so I will have to contact my bank to prevent future payments. The customer service is terrible.
I wouldn’t trust them again and do not recommend (also don’t get a picture with the frame because it doesn’t compliment the pictures at all and cannot be removed).
The customer service is poor. Extremely disappointing for a business that's selling such a great product.
Initially I put an order with the wrong zip/post code but the very same day before the order was dispatched, I asked them if they could change it to the correct one. They said yes and that it was changed. Then I find out that they didnt change it because my parcel ended up getting lost. I ask them to launch an investigation on my parcel with the courier and they said they did. But then I call the courier and the courier tells me that they haven't yet asked for an investigation. I then frustratedly email them and they submit the investigation. All until now, even though I was told the investigation would be finalized in 7 calendar days, I still haven't received any information on it. It's been almost a month now and I have not received any 4 of my posters. It's very nerve-racking to know you'll be dealing with hapless customer service should you ever need it. The posters are probably amazing, but the customer service as people have said, is very accurately underwhelming. If I receive my poster then it makes sense to edit this review, but at this rate it literally isn't coming.
Terrible. Just the worst customer service I have ever seen. DIdn't find out about duties and taxes till my order was on my way to the door and couldn't be released without them. A total coming to approx 50% of my order value. Just ridiculous.
Metal posters is something I never seen, I just loved Displat stuff
I am a entertainment journalist in New York and love movies,television and celebtities and all, like from childhood actually, so I chose this profession. I love to have posters in my house, actually my house look like a fan club :) but when i saw Displate, these guys have another level of posters which looks so gazing, lusturous and effective in rooms. They are made up of metal, easy to use, just stick it. so I slowly get rid all old posters or frames and obsessed with theirs.
Until today, I have ordered around 40 posters from here( that's craz right) and I have recommended lot of people to go for this.
