    Dyson Trigger V7

    I purchased a Dyson Trigger v7 from this company on 16th March 2022 but noticed, on the 15th of April, that the 'empty' mechanism wouldn't work. I reported this to Donaghy Bros on the 19th April, due to bank holiday, and was told that I needed to email their customer services regarding this. Donaghy Bros also explained that I needed to speak with Dyson regarding this matter, which I was shocked with. They obviously couldn't be bothered to transfer my call to their customer services, as I was put through to them the following day. I then immediately received an email from Donaghy Bros with a link of how to troubleshoot my device and the phone number for Dyson.

    I called Dyson who were puzzled as to why I had been told to call them, since the hoover was obviously faulty and my guarantee was with Donaghy Bros. I therefore called Donaghy Bros again, who told me that they would address the matter the following day. I received an email the next day, yesterday, saying that they would be arranging DPD to pick up the hoover from me the following day, being today, the 21st April. They also explained that when they had received it, they would then send me a replacement.

    I was expecting them to send me new hoover straight away, since I was well within my rights to have a new one under the guarantee. I called them and spoke to customer services (yes I was put through this time!) After complaining to them, they still insisted that I would have to wait until they received mine for them to replace it. This was then followed up by an email they sent me, which I have copied and pasted for this review. It stated the following....

    "As we are based in Northern Ireland the quickest the delivery will be is the start of next week with the weekend it does extend the delivery as DPD do not deliver on weekends. This will be an immediate replacement taking in to account the standard delivery time with the courier DPD which is the 2-3 working days…"

    I have never heard of such a ridiculous excuse and am furious with their lack of customer care. I obviously will not be getting a replacement for another week now. I will never use this company again, as they breach their guarantees and if I do not get a replacement by next Tuesday, 26th April, I will be reporting them to Trading Standards

    I love cooking a lot and I so wanted to get the best kitchen equipment when we moved into our new home, I talked to my husband and we agreed to get one. So I started searching for where I could get one of great quality and at an affordable rate. I came across Donaghy bros and after much consideration, I decided to shop from them. Because I was impressed with what I saw on their page I had to order a cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven, and some cookware. It was delivered to me within a few days and they were exactly what I wanted. I love their product and will definitely shop from them again whenever I need any of the items that they sell. I recommend Donaghy bros to anyone looking to buy quality kitchen equipment and houseware.
