I purchased a iPhone 8 Plus 16/02/24 which was faulty, would not turn on even after a 24h charge. sent back to exchange for 2nd iPhone.within 24h it started to freeze.i reset the phone but continued to freeze every day. Apple customer support confirmed software fault. i Reported fault 01/03/24 and was to return for refund. My very sick wife who is END OF LIFE was taken ill and in critical condition. I could not get home to post iPhone back until i returned home for a days rest on the 02/04/24.i kept seller fully updated with my situation, THEY SAID "POST WHEN YOU CAN". the iPhone was delivered to them on 04/04/24, tracking number QZ712669220GB.THEY NOW REFUSE TO REFUND US AND HAVE THE IPHONE I RETURNED. complete dishonesty, theft and fraudulent behaviour.
Bought a Pixel 7 Pro
Phone developed dead pixels within 2 months of purchase so I returned it as faulty as required.
I chased it up 2 weeks later and they confirmed the engineer would look at it soon.
24 days after sending it back I finally have an email reply:

The device has been dropped and therefore this line has come.
The phone has internal damage which can result in a line on display.
Internal damage can come from a pressure exertion or phine drop.

I purchased a refurbished iPhone XS from this company late December 2021. It has been returned for repair 3 times in 9 months due to battery failure as they use non Apple parts. On the second failure the battery expanded and pushed the screen away from the unit, this can't be safe? I have asked for a refund but they just keep replacing the cheap battery and returning it. I will never use this company again!

Handtec have read my review and are now trying to get me to remove it by offering me an a partial refund.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have had trouble with my new phone right from the start. It arrived just over four weeks ago and I was pleased initially, because it was in excellent condition. I even wrote a complimentary review about it. However, it has terrible phone reception and kept cutting out. The IT department at the school where I teach told me it is an overseas phone which may not be designed for the UK market. Handtec sent me a postage return label and I packed it carefully, following their instructions to the letter. They then contacted me to say the phone arrived damaged and the warranty - on a five week old phone - no longer applied. I am waiting to see what happens. If they sent me a refund or they repair it properly I am happy to remove this review, but so far the experience of dealing with this company has been dire. I have paid £530 for a phone which does not work and at the moment they have the phone!

Got a phone from handtec a while ago, the screen was pretty glitchy when it arrived, but stopped after a while. After having the phone for a while, out of nowhere, the modem firmware went (face ID broke, signal wouldn't connect, screen went glitchy again, phone kept rebooting, wouldn't recognise a charger), which is a phone issue, not a user issue. I emailed handtec as it was still within it's warranty and sent it off to them, however they refused to replace the phone and tried to claim that everything that went wrong with it was my fault - even though i spoke to a phone specialist outside of the company and they informed me that i had not done anything wrong and it was completely a phone issue. They also took so long to reply to any of my emails, and didn't even update me about what was going to happen, I had to follow up to even find out if I was going to get my phone back. Awful, would never use them again

Wish I has seen reviews before I sent my perfectly fine mobile, they offer a great price to suck you in, then surprise surprise the 'engineer' finds a fault internally with an LCD bleed! The phone was in perfect condition when it was sent, it was sent in their own packaging they sent me and although I suggested if there is damage, they claim from Royal Mail the response was 'tough'. Awful customer service, hiked original offer to get the handset from you and then re offer at about a quarter of the original valuation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I bought a phone from them as Prestine, when I received it it had scratches on the phone, the Face ID wasn;t working and a few other issues.
I asked for a refund and returned the phone to them. Guess what? They said I broke it and I had to pay another additional £100. The ultimate way of scamming, sell a broken phone stating it is in excellent conditions and when you return it asking for a refund you have to fix it for them.
I REPEAT DO NOT BUT FROM HERE!!! THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A PHONE LINE YOU CAN CALL TO AND TALK TO SOMEONE. THE WORST EXPERIENCE. NEVER EVER BUYING FROM HERE OR A SIMILAR COMPANY.ipad
If you contact them about their returns policy for their "12 Month Premium Warranty". After 30 days you must pay the postage, even if the product is faulty.
If you contact them, they are clearly aware this is in breach of Consumer Rights Act 2015 - but they respond with "this is our own policy and this is how it is sorry".
Pay by credit card or Paypal so you can get charge back if/when you have issues.Sale of Galaxy S9
Sent my handset in at an agreed sale price. I was then informed the offer would be significantly less due to it needing repairs! The phone was in pristine condition, no repairs required! so I asked for it to be returned. I was then offered a higher price but not nearly enough. The handset has now arrived back with me and has 2 very noticeable scratches on the screen. Not happy is an understatement.

Where do I start,. DONT USE HANDTEC ,Give quotes Set you up a contract,then LIE about faults,the quote is always 250 less than what they offer in first instance 350, they Billie you, by charging you30 pounds, wittch says is free, Fallse advertising, Customer service alledgidly put all good reviews on,,don't contract then report them trading standards, everybody do it,why the government don't step in close them down beond me,customerservice are rude and untrained

Terrible Service and Theft
Terrible service......offered £60 less than the online offer (despite completing all of the questions regarding condition).
Handtec also removed the protective glass and shock-proof cover that was worth £30 and returned the item with no protective wear.

Do NOT sell your phone to this company they are scammers! I was offered 280 for my iphone x sent it off then recieved email saying they will only offer 70 because the phone was faulty when infact the phone was in perfect condition. I was backed into a corner and was told if I didnt accept offer within 14 days they would keep the phone felt I had no choice to accept offer! I will not be letting this go and will be seeking legal advice! absolute scumbags!

Do not Use this company to sell your phone. they will offer the highest amount then offer you half that once received and come up with absolute rubbish excuses and when you want the phone back will try and charge £30 admin to get it back, read the other reviews on other sites and it will prove my case, scam of a company, trading standards will be full of the same complaintsPhone

Do not use for selling a device. Keeps your phone and then does not communicate or update. They still have my device and look like they’re refusing to pay out. Looks like I’ve lost out on this one. Steer clear and AVOID.

THEY HAVE TOLD ME MY PHONE WAS OWED MONEY TO MOBILE FIRM AND THEY HAVE OFERED ME 90% LESS MONEY, IT'S A JOKE OR THEY WANTED £30 TO RETURN THE PHONE BACK TO ME. I HAD NO OPTION PAID £30 TO GET MY PHONE BACK AND PHONE CAME BACK WITH A SCRATCH ON THE SCREEN. I WAS GUTTED. THEY WANTED TO GET THE PHONE FOR FREE... DON'T USE THEM AT ALL. THEY ARE CONNERS.. Dishonest and not a trustworthy company!
I posted my immaculate Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB to them in March (the trade-in value was £700+). I'd had the device 7 months and it was completely unlocked. After waiting for a few days, I had received an email from them with a revised offer of £100. This was apparently because it was not unlocked, and I'd had the device less than 6 months on contract from my network provider. The email received is also aggressive, which states they will pay you the revised offer and some waffle about a debt collection agency. I've worked in mobile phones since 2006, and know my stuff. I rang the customer services department to request my handset back to be told I'll be charged £30 for the privilege (I also spent £15 with Royal Mail Special Delivery to send it to them as well). I requested my phone worth £1200 brand new back off them, and once I received it back (luckily) traded it in with another company (getting my full amount and a better customer experience). After weeks of feeling utterly ripped off, I thought come back here to warn people not to sell to this company. Thanks for nothing and you're welcome Handtec :)

Don’t believe the price given you won’t have it just wasting your time they said it was scratched but it was a unwanted upgrade out of a box brand new when returning they said didn’t have my address but they had it to send the packaging all lies with handtec eventually got the iPhone 11 back sold to music magpie not a problem smooth transaction stay away from handtec for selling can’t comment on buying but selling a big no no
