I read every word of their 2017 guide to Iceland before my trip, and it lead to me a lot of hidden treats I would have probably otherwise have missed.
Obviously have to remember that more people go when things are in the book, but overall it doesnt dissapoint with the highlights
What I personally don't like about Lonely Planet is that the locations are not that exclusive anymore, those tiny special places tend yo get overcrowded by people reading the Lonely Planet guides, which can be pretty anoying.
Still, I love the tips and the information in their guides, so yeah, I will keep using and reading them.
the best tips and places to go are always in a lonely planet. I do not leave without a copy.
they could add some more pictures, though, it's good for inspiration!!
