Pretty Green in the clothing brand founded in 2009 by the Oasis lead-singer Liam Gallagher, with the aim to unite people through music and fashion. The name of the brand comes from The Jam song, “Pretty Green” and manufactures clothing that reflects Gallagher’s style of ‘simple, classic clothing with a modern twist’. Since launching, the brand has gone from strength to strength, rolling out collaboration ranges, such as with Paul Weller in 2011, and Gibson Guitar, creating hand-painted ‘flying V’ style guitars in 2015. They have also done well internationally, opening their first store in Japan in 2012, before opening eight more in 2015, as well as several others in Ireland, the Netherlands and the rest of the UK. The brand is also known to be involved with philanthropic projects, such as their support of the Teenage Cancer Trust, which they have done in the past with Jamie Hewlett collaborations T-shirts.

Gallagher’s clothing brand sell a full range of clothing, accessories and footwear, from simple T-shirts and hats, to heavy-duty jackets and classic polo shirts, and even to other artistic mediums such as books, jewellery and badges. The choice of clothing is divided by cateogry on thier website, but also along the lines of each of the seasonal or stylistic ranges they have released, such as the John Smedley collaboration. On top of the money-making clothing side of the business, Pretty Green are also heavily involved in the creative community and musical projects, with the “Behind the Scenes” section of the website posting a lot of information on bands, though it is not clear what the affiliation is.
