About Simba Sleep

Simba Sleep is a homeware shop that focuses on bedding and other bedroom essentials. The company was founded in 1979 so they have some experience in the business. According to Simba Sleep’s website, it started with a simple piece of thread. They used to sell threads and already gained an international name for themselves. Even in those days, their treads were used for mattresses, perhaps even yours. In 2002 they finally got the idea to fabricate a mattress of their own. Finding the perfect mattress took some time. They experimented with PU memory foam, synthetic foam, high-density memory foam and natural memory foam. Still, those solutions were not perfect and they knew they could do better. They added some springs that could “fit inside of a rolled mattress”. Because they couldn’t find the proper latex for the top layer, they designed the latex themselves. When the tests showed that the heat regulation of this latex was the way they wanted it to be, the mattress was ready to be sold. Later on, they added a baby mattress, pillow, Simba Sleep bed with adjustable bed bottom and a set of bed linen. The bedding consists of a bed cover, pillow cover and protector.
