About The North Face
Founded in 1968 in San Francisco by Douglas and Susie Tompkins, The North Face started out as a retail store for climbing equipment. Since then, the brand has grown to include various equipment for other activities such as camping, and apparel for men, women and children. 


Customer Services
The North Face website offers a broad variety of products that can also be found throughout their international stores. Their products are categorised into Men, Women, Kids, Bags & Tents and Footwear. The Men's and Women's category is further divided into Jackets, Bottoms, tops, Footwear, Accessories and products by either activities (hiking, training, running, mountaineering, ski & snowboarding) or by collection such as Apex Flex, Thermoball, Goretex, Ultra Series, Footwear, Summer Styles and Camping. The Kid's category is divided into Boys and Girls, with both groups offering waterproof jackets, insulated jackets and gilets, thermoball jackets, fleeces and hoodies, t-shirts and trousers and shorts. The Bags and Tent category also offers travel items and sleeping bags and the Footwear category offers footwear for Men and Women and Kids, specifically for adults, for Hiking, Running, Training, Mountaineering and Lifestyle.
