The Times is a daily newspaper that has been around for quite some time. It was founded by John Walter. The Times started out in 1785. The first issue published under the name of The Daily Universal Register. It was later changed to The Times because Walter was unhappy with the fact that many people left ‘universal’ out of the title. The Times also originated the typeface Times New Roman, which is now one of the most well known typefaces in existance. Since 1821, the Times works together with its sister paper, The Sunday Times.

They have a supplement, called Times 2, that includes lifestyle news, arts news, listings and reviews of TV and radio, and a puzzle section, called Mind Games.
