Books, magazines and reading in general are a favourite way to pass time for many people. Some people like to read an hour before bed time, others like to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon on the couch with nothing more than a book and a glass of thee to keep them company and for some people reading a newspaper or magazine is part of their daily morning ritual. But what is the best place to find your favourite reading material? There are so many bookshops that it might be hard to chose one. Maybe WHSmith has what you are looking for. Of course you can compare the prices with other companies, but what if you want to know about real delivery periods, about customer service and about accessibility of the website? That is what other customers with hands-on experiences can tell you about. Read their customer reviews to find out if WHSmith is the kind of (web)shop that you want to buy at.
WHSmith is a British retailer of books, magazines and all other kinds of reading material. The chain of shops is founded by Henry Walton Smith and his wife Anna Smith in 1972. They now have many shops that are situated in all kinds of quirky places such as high streets, railway stations, airports, hospitals and motorway service stations. Their range of book varies from children’s books to fiction books, biographies, travel maps, and books about, crime, mystery, thriller, cookery, food and drink and many more. Besides books, they also sell cards, gifts, party supplies, filofax, magazines, photo albums, notebooks and office supplies like furniture, filling, pens, items for computering and electronics and more. They also have supplies for arts and crafts for those who like to be creative. Each month, they appoint a book of the month in various genres. Nice if you want to have some inspiration on what to reed next after your current book is finished; it might even show you books that you would otherwise never have noticed. And last but not least, HWSmith gives out gift cards that you can give to someone else.
