Are you looking for some comfortable active wear? Would you feel even more comfortable if you knew that the products you were wearing were all made from sustainable and eco-materials? Yew Clothing designs top-class sportswear that has been created with the environment in mind. From organic cotton casual wear to high-performance active tops made from recycled plastics, Yew Clothing provides affordable and sustainable clothing without compromising on quality or comfort.
The company was created to reflect the views, values and aspirations of it’s creators – to make ethicallysourced clothing from environmentallyfriendly material. With the knowledge that this wouldn’t appeal to everyone, it was decided that regardless of the success, Yew Clothing would be a company to be proud of. Yew Clothing recognise that customers require high performance standards from their active clothing, and work hard so that this performance isn’t compromised in order to be more sustainable or ethical. Jun Wong and Kresse Wesling combined their passions for the outdoors and sustainable business to create a brand they could shout about. Kresse’s efforts in the business world have been recognised with accolades such as Shell Entrepreneurial Woman of the Future 2007 and HSBC Start-Up Stars Green Award, 2008. The name of the company was chosen due to the organic and enduring nature of the yew tree – which also has a long history in England representing long life.
