    Simple and effective organization chart

    I recently had this task of quickly putting together an organization chart for my team, projects, tasks, and results. I thought I could do it in Excel at first, spent an hour trying to make it look good, but it just didn't come out right. After feeling a bit frustrated, I thought I'd give Miro a go. And let me tell you, I was impressed by how lovely and easy to use it was. The templates they have for different occasions are brilliant, and I got carried away exploring all the cool things you can do. Now, whenever I need to visualise a project, I always go back to Miro because it never fails to amaze me.

    Team collaboration software purchase

    The team collaboration software is great, really easy to use and efficient. But I have to say, I was really let down by the way they handle their billing. It just doesn't seem right to me that you have to manually tweak the team size in order to avoid getting charged for empty spaces when someone leaves. It feels like they're trying to pull a fast one and keep making money that way, rather than just charging fairly. It would be so much better if they could make the billing process more clear and automatic, so it accurately reflects the size of the team at all times.

    I've recently bought a remote working tool and I've got to say, I'm really impressed with how it works.     Aggressive marketing tactics

    Why do companies think it's acceptable to spam their customers with unwanted emails? A colleague added me to one mailing list and now I receive a bunch of marketing emails, product tips, and summaries every week. The annoying thing is, I never signed up for any of this! I've attempted to unsubscribe several times, but they've cleverly categorized their emails so each unsubscribe only works for that particular type of email. It's really frustrating and a clear violation of my privacy.

    Collaborative diagramming tool

    I think the collaborative diagramming feature on this tool is absolutely brilliant. It makes it so easy for team members to work together and communicate. However, I've been having some problems with account management. Moving files between teams and setting permissions has been really tough. What's more, I've noticed that the user experience hasn't been great recently, maybe because the platform is trying to support too many integrations at once.

    Big, confusing boards

    I gave Miro a go for work the other day and honestly, it's pretty tricky to figure out. My wrist is actually aching from all the clicking and scrolling. The boards are massive and totally all over the place. I've tried zooming in on my laptop but I still can't make any sense of it. Everyone in the office swears by it, but I just wish they'd give me the information in a more straightforward way instead of forcing me to use this frustrating tool.

    Solo business mindmapping tool

    The consultant plan was a disaster. I'm a solopreneur and thought I'd upgrade for more privacy with potential partners. Turns out, it led to a huge bill and zero support when I needed it. The pricing was confusing and I felt ripped off. I couldn't tell which boards had access and which didn't, making it a nightmare. I would've stuck with the free plan if I'd known.

    I've got to say, this product really needs a key feature that lets you undo things easily. Picture accidentally deleting something and not being able to undo it! It feels like we're stuck in the past, working without a history to fall back on. Come on, sort it out!

    Terrible customer service

    I'm absolutely fuming at this place! I tried to give them a call but there's no way of getting through on the phone, it's so frustrating. What's even the point of having a phone number if you can't actually speak to anyone? And when I tried to leave a complaint on their website, it's like my concerns just disappear into thin air, they never address them. Even if you do manage to finally speak to someone, all they give you is some rubbish generic response that doesn't relate to your actual issue at all. And don't even get me started on trying to cancel my subscription, it's like trying to crack an impossible code! Ugh, I've had enough.

    annoyingly complicated board permissions

    I had such a nightmare trying to share diagrams with my mates. The way ownership works is super confusing and we all ended up completely losing control of transferring them. I even managed to lose my own board and there was no way to get in touch with them for assistance. It's all run by community support which is just rubbish. I definitely wouldn't suggest using it, it's all a bit of a disaster.

    Tool harassment by Account Managers

    As someone who uses the tool a lot, I keep getting loads of sales emails from Account Managers at Miro every day. Even though I've asked them nicely to stop, the emails just keep coming without any apology or recognition. It's really starting to annoy me and has made my overall experience with the tool worse.

    Free trial cancellation issue

    I wanted to share a recent frustrating experience I had with a company. I decided to try out their free trial but wanted to cancel before it ended. The problem was that even after I tried multiple times to cancel, they kept charging my card. It was really annoying! I tried to contact their customer service, but no one was responding to my messages. In the end, I had to cancel my card to stop them from charging me. What a nightmare!

    Essential tool for collaboration
