Wanted to cancel my flights with stopover in China due to the coronavirus outbreak. They offered to cancel them for a fee of £75 per person, which I agreed and gave written notification. 2 days later, they had not cancelled yet and they came up with another fee of £75 per person, totalling £150 per person. This new fee has nothing to do with the airline as I talked to them and they waived all charges on the cancellation. They will not say what it is other than processing fee. Days complaining and chasing them with no answer. After 4-5 days they came back blaming it all on me as in theory "I had not confirmed the cancellation" (I had done this on the first day).
Now as "goodwill" gesture they offer to discount £30 on the fee that they added themselves of £75 extra. Well, thank you very much but of course I refuse. I will not pay a later fee that was not agreed. Flights are tomorrow and they have not solved my problem. 14 days after I confirmed and agreed to cancel on the first fee.
They have not tried to talk to me about reasons, explanations or anything else, just fees. That is all they will talk about.
AVOID or regret it forever. This is the worst experience of my life with a travel agent.
We booked flights from LAX to LHR in sufficient time for the airline to issue tickets, however despite having an order acknowledgement that day, when we got to the airport, they hadn't processed it.
None of their telephone numbers worked, they only have an email contact form with a quoted 48 hours reply time. We missed the flight as we had nothing to give to American Airlines. We have had to extend hotels, taxis, disappoint people back home over Christmas, miss work events. I would not trust these guys ever again.
I imagine they will still try and take the money too. We recorded videos of ourselves at the airport to prove we didn't just miss a flight.
I was quite busy with my work and being a single mother i have lots of responsibilities. so i forget to plan our summer trip and my kids will surely get upset if they get to know that. Emailflights are my old travel agency, i am using their services even for my office, especially when we are having an office holiday trips. so i contact them and send my details they call back me and reconfirm all details.
i really like their speed of work, also they are reliable for urgent traveling trips or last minute thing. so i am comfortable with their services. also, they charge well so that's not a big deal.
