Had tickets to Ultra Europe 2020 for which I would receive a refund. Has emailed about 15 emails will be referred to different email addresses, forms and that Festicket no longer reads the emails that come in. Think the next step is to proceed with police.

Shocking company, 2 months on and still no refund, fobbed off and ignored
On the website, there is a payment plan option for purchasing tickets to the Afro Nation Portugal 2021 event.
On Thursday, November 19, 2020, I selected the payment plan option (which is an additional $40) due to the option to breakdown payments. Upon checking out, I was not charged the payment plan installment price of $46.00, I was charged $343.49.
I immediately contacted the support services and my bank. Included in the email to support staff was a screenshot of the payment page which clearly indicated "payment plan" at the top of the page. A staff member by the name of Alex responded the next day, Friday, November 20th. He stated that I would not get my money back and that there was nothing Festicket.com could do (Including honoring the payment plan amount). There was no acknowledgement of the fact that I was charged the full amount in addition to the prepayment fee. Why would I choose a payment plan with an additional booking fee only to pay the full amount? That option is not even possible on the website. I feel violated and cheated.
My bank stopped the payment, but it posted on Friday, November 20th. I have filed a dispute with my bank and will take every step necessary to ensure that festticket.com is held liable for their unethical and fraudulent activities. AfroNation has acknowledged a potential glitch in the system as my complaint is one of many. However, festticket refuses to respond or even acknowledge their error. Instead they are choosing to hide behind Portuguese law despite being registered in the United Kingdom.

It is wrong to exploit people and take advantage of my hard earned dollars during such a difficult time. Festticket leadership and board should be ashamed of themselves for stealing from people during this pandemic. I will not stop until the error is acknowledged and corrected. I will NEVER use festticket.com again and I will make sure people's plans and experiences aren't trampled by festticket.com's insatiable greed and lack of ethics.
