Understanding Nutrition and Health Level 2 Certificate course
I really loved the Understanding Nutrition and Health Level 2 Certificate course. Even though I already had a good grasp of the topic, I thought the content was really interesting and varied, with lots of extra resources available through links in the materials. The assignments were well organised and not too overwhelming, and the support I got helped me learn easily. I liked being able to make notes and go over important ideas again to make sure I understood properly. The feedback from my Assessor was really helpful and kept me motivated, which made me feel good about my progress. I'm excited to do another course in the future and would definitely recommend The Skills Network to others.
Online distance learning experience
I really enjoyed doing my online distance learning course. I liked being able to learn at my own pace and focus on the material without feeling like someone was watching over my shoulder all the time. It was great how quickly they marked the first unit, and the feedback they gave me was really useful for figuring out where I needed to do better. I was glad that the feedback was more about how I wrote things rather than the actual content, because it showed me that the main goal was to help me learn and improve, not just pass the assignment. I also found it really helpful that I could ask for extra time on assignments, especially when I had to suddenly move house in the middle of the course.
Online courses
My time with The Skills Network has been absolutely fantastic. Even though I've had some tough times this year, the support I got from them was truly exceptional. Every time I needed help, their team was so empathetic and really went out of their way to assist me. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and support. TSN really knows how to deliver top-notch customer service, and other companies could definitely learn from them. Huge thank you to TSN and all the staff - I wish them all the best!
Fantastic courses
The staff there are really friendly and always happy to chat about the courses they offer. The courses sound really interesting and could really improve your skills, which is great for enhancing your CV. You can learn just about anything if you're committed and willing to put in the work. I'm looking forward to taking some of the funded courses because who doesn't enjoy learning, hey? It's fortunate that not every country offers free courses, so I feel lucky to have discovered this place!
Level 2 course, paper based
I completed that course over the summer from June to August, and I had all the books I needed at home so I didn't have to rely on using a computer. It was really educational, but there was more coursework than I expected. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they even gave me extensions for my exams when I needed them. They graded my work swiftly and provided me with great guidance. I would definitely recommend this course and this institution to others.
Mental Health First Aider and Mental Health Advocacy courses
I've just completed my Mental Health First Aider and Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace courses with Jo, she's absolutely fantastic! Her feedback was really useful and I managed to complete everything really quickly. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to starting another course soon!
Project Management course with Mary Nanyondo
I just finished doing a Project Management course with a tutor called Mary Nanyondo, and I have to say it was really great. Mary knew her stuff and was easy to talk to, which made the course interesting and simple to follow. She wasn't just professional but also really friendly, which made it easy for all of us to ask questions and get help when we needed it. I really value all the effort Mary put in and how dedicated she was to the course, so I would definitely suggest her as a tutor.
TQUK Level 2 Digital Marketing course
The TQUK Level 2 Digital Marketing course was amazing, it totally went above and beyond what I was expecting. The two tutors I had were super helpful and gave me really useful feedback to help me get better with each unit I submitted. It was a bit more challenging than I thought it would be, but I learned so much and gained some valuable skills that made it all worth it. I definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to boost their education and grow their digital marketing skills.
Self-harm and Suicide Awareness Course
The course content was brilliant - I'm really chuffed to have got my TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Self-harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention (RQF) now. The tutor was really helpful with their feedback, and doing the course online was a breeze. It did take up quite a bit of time and got pretty detailed at points, but it was definitely worth it. I'm feeling pretty proud of myself for actually taking the time to do something for me!
Distance learning course
I really enjoyed the distance learning course I did. It was great because I could learn at my own speed and had the flexibility to ask for more time if I needed it. The feedback I got on my assignments was really helpful and I got good grades, even though it was all done through email. Overall, I had a good experience and I've already asked about signing up for another course.
Mental health awareness course
I've just finished the level 1 mental health awareness course and I have to say, it was tough but really worth it. At first, I didn't realise how much work it would involve, but soon saw the importance of putting in the effort. The course was really interesting and I'm grateful for the chance to learn more about mental health awareness.
Spent ages filling out forms for nothing
I spent ages doing silly quizzes and things trying to get free courses like the advert promised, only to find out it was all a scam. It's a complete rip-off, so I wouldn't bother wasting your time like I did.
Easy online learning
I really love studying with The Skills Network online. It's so convenient being able to do it from home and still get certificates. It's definitely helping me develop professionally. Such a fantastic way to learn!

The people who work at this organisation are amazing. They're always patient, polite and go the extra mile to support and motivate me through my studies. Their encouragement has really helped me stay focused and reach my goals.
Fully Funded Cyber Security Course
I was really looking forward to starting a fully funded Level 3 Cyber Security course after a positive phone call with the staff. But I was gutted when I got an email saying I wasn't eligible anymore. It's a real shame because I was counting on this course to help me start a new career. It's really disheartening to have my hopes lifted up and then crushed like that.
Cyber security bootcamp
I just finished a cyber security bootcamp with this company, and honestly, it was a total waste of time. The tutor didn't seem to know much about the industry and basically just read from outdated slides in class. The practice labs were a disaster too - they barely worked properly and really got in the way of my learning. To make matters worse, they promised me a certificate when I finished, but I never got one because I didn't attend a job interview. They said they'd help me get one, but all they did was send me job listings miles away from where I live. It's pretty obvious that this company is a scam, and I feel like I've been ripped off along with government money.
Introductory course in SEND
As a retired nurse, I fancied a change into working with kids who have special needs and this course has given me the theory know-how I needed. It was tough but totally worth it, as I upped my academic game with each section. I reckon I'm all set to kick off my new job with special needs kids soon. Thanks a bunch.
Course experience cut short
The course I signed up for was really quite interesting, but I had to stop because of unexpected things happening. And then it all went downhill. They just kept reminding me and threatening me for payment, even after I told them what was going on. It's really not on to act that way, it's left me feeling really negative about the whole thing. I'd tell anyone thinking about using this service to seriously think twice before going ahead.
Skill bootcamp in data analysis
I signed up for a funded data analysis bootcamp through the website. I filled out the form and got a welcome email, but then I heard nothing. There wasn't even a rejection message, which was a letdown. I tried to reach out with a question, but didn't get any response. It's annoying to be kept in the dark with no updates.
