Thought I’d write a quick review on my experience of TecoBuy – based on the fact that I believe many people have too harshly penalized them for things that are ultimately out of their control.
On the 11th March 2021 I bought a Fiio M15 costing £1019.
It arrived today (26th Match 2021) in perfect condition.
Sure, in a world where most things are delivered the next day, waiting 15 days seems a little odd.. But who really cares if you’re saving hundreds of pounds, as I did.
I received a tracking number – which wasn’t of much help. But again, the important thing is that the item arrived in a little over 2 weeks – and for this inconvenience, I now have nearly £200 to spend on other things… You do the math!
People who are so impatient or spoilt that they want the cheapest bargain right now are being unrealistic. If you can’t wait, and money means nothing to you, then jump into your car and shop in the high street (in normal times).
So, in summary, though I was cautious after seeing so many negative reviews, I realized that the vast majority were nothing to do with the products Tecobuy are selling – and everything to do with people acting like kids.
Of course, use Paypal should your own experience end differently than mine.
But, basically: buy, save and wait.tecobuy is fake its scam please don’t do shopping here i didn’t receive my order not my refund all its fake please don’t do shopping here
Camera lens purchase
I bought a camera lens from Tecobuy and it arrived in perfect condition, all shiny and new in its box. I got a really good deal on it too, couldn't beat the price, not even if I went hunting for a second-hand one. The only thing that got me a little worried was that there was no warranty included, which got me thinking it might be a dodgy grey import. Still, I'm pretty chuffed with my purchase and wouldn't think twice about buying from Tecobuy again.
A little tip for you guys - if you're worried about paying all at once, maybe link your credit card to PayPal and go through that for some extra protection. All in all, my time with Tecobuy was fab - top service, top price, top product. Cheers!Airpods purchase
I recently bought a pair of Airpods from Tecobuy and I have to say, I was really impressed with the great value for money. The price was so much lower than other shops that I just had to buy them. I was a bit worried at first because they didn't give much tracking info, but my Airpods arrived in perfect condition and I absolutely love them. I've been using them all the time and the sound quality is top-notch. I was so happy with them that I wanted to get another pair as a spare, but it looks like Tecobuy doesn't deliver to the UK anymore due to some issues. It's a bit of a letdown because I was hoping to buy more from them in the future.
Dyson Corrale pro
Like others, I stupidly read reviews AFTER placing my order.
My product arrived in 5 working days as described, by Fed Ex & Royal Mail. It was very securely packed. It appears to be of Dyson quality standard. I have several other Dyson products and it really looks very genuine, but I tried to register it with Dyson and the serial number isn't recognised, so I am now suspicious about it's authenticity. It was considerably cheaper than Dyson's price, but still very expensive.
I've charged it up & it seems to be working as expected. I'll try to register it again.Camera
I bought this top-notch camera from this company thinking I was getting a good bargain, only to realise later that the company wasn't UK-based. When it came to delivery, I got quite a shock. I made my order ages ago and was informed it was on its way, but I'm still waiting for it. The lack of communication from the company is disappointing, especially as I need this camera for work. I've had to delay important projects while waiting for this delivery that never seems to end. This has definitely been the slowest and most frustrating delivery experience I've ever had, and I wouldn't use this company again in the future.
Smartwatch Watch Purchase
I bought a smartwatch from this store not long ago, and let me tell you, I was so let down! The watch didn't have the UK region, so Samsung Pay wouldn't work, and it kept saying my cards were no good. They only had regions for Egypt, Bahrain, and the UAE. When I switched on the watch, it was just awful! I'm going to report this to UK trading standards because products ought to be suitable for use, and this company shouldn't be selling to UK customers at UK prices if all the features aren't there.
Smartphone purchase
I recently bought a smartphone from Tecobuy and was happy to see it was a really good price, much cheaper than anywhere else in the UK. It took about 10 working days for the phone to turn up, but the savings made it worth the wait. However, I had some stress during the delivery as the shipping tracking didn't work for me. I decided to pay an extra £5 for insurance, but later on, I found out I was already protected by using my credit card for payment. In the end, the phone was just what I expected and I was pleased with the whole experience.
Apple Pencil
I recently bought an Apple Pencil from this online shop. It arrived quite quickly, but the delivery took longer than I thought because it came all the way from China. The tracking details were a bit confusing, and the UK delivery person couldn't figure out who sent it, which made me a bit unsure if my order was right. However, when the Apple Pencil finally arrived, I was glad to see that it was a genuine product and cheaper than in other shops. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase from this online store.
iPhone purchase
Well, let me start by explaining how it all began. I had this idea to purchase some really awesome stuff, you know? When I placed the order, it seemed to take ages to actually arrive. It went from one place to another and I couldn't even track it properly. But, when it eventually made its way to me, everything was fine. I ended up getting three iPhones and they were all in great condition. However, now they don't deliver to the UK anymore due to some complaints. Oh well, what can you do?
Two lenses
I bought a couple of lenses from this company not long ago and it was a bit hit and miss. I managed to get a good deal on them, which was great, but the delivery was a bit of a letdown. The tracking info they gave me was all over the place and it seemed like they didn't really know what they had in stock. Despite all that, the lenses turned up in perfect condition after a few weeks. I might order from them again in the future, especially if I go for the insured delivery and pay with PayPal.
£300 games console
I bought a games console for £300 from this shop, and it was a nightmare. They said it was delivered, but it never actually reached me. When I contacted customer service, they made me fill in forms many times, but still didn't give me a refund. After being ignored for weeks, they said it was too late and I had to deal with the courier myself. It's not fair, as it's the shop's responsibility for non-delivery. My kids saved up for this, and now it's like the money disappeared. They're con artists who have put us in a tricky spot.
Smartphone
I made a mistake by ordering a smartphone online without realising it was from a company overseas. It's been three months since I placed my order and the phone still hasn't arrived. Despite asking for a refund several times, all I get is a standard reply thanking me for my patience and saying they're looking into the problem with their delivery company. After reading other reviews, it seems like lots of people have had this issue with the same company. I'd recommend avoiding them unless you're happy to waste your money and get nothing in return.
Dyson Airwrap
What a complete disaster it was ordering from this company! I thought it would be a nice birthday present for my partner to get a Dyson Airwrap, but it turned into a nightmare when I realised they had sent me a fake one. I tried to cancel the order before it was sent out, but they still went ahead and gave me a shipping number. Supposedly, the order arrived in 3 days, but instead of the Airwrap, there was a block of concrete in the box! It's unbelievable how bold this company is. They seem to have disappeared and are not responding to any messages. It's best to avoid these scammers at all costs.
Laptop purchase
The price was alright, but I'm really let down with the service I got. It's been more than three weeks since I ordered my laptop, and I still haven't received it. The delivery has been dragging on forever, and the tracking details from the courier are just not reliable. Plus, I'm a bit suspicious about the website - they say they're in the UK but it looks like they're actually in China. I'm starting to wonder if the product I bought is even real. All in all, I'm feeling doubtful and annoyed about my experience with Tecobuy.
Speaker purchase
I recently bought some speakers from an online store. At first, I wasn't too sure about ordering online, but I decided to go for it. I paid a bit extra for the tracking service, but it was totally worth it. It took around three weeks for the delivery to arrive, which seemed a bit long, but considering how far it had to travel, it wasn't too bad. The speakers got to the UK quicker than I thought, which was a nice surprise. In the end, I was happy with my purchase and would definitely think about ordering from them again. The service was quick and the communication was great.
Samsung A52 5G
I recently bought a Samsung A52 5G from Tecobuy and to be honest, it was a bit of a nightmare. The phone took ages to show up, and when it finally did, I had a whole bunch of issues. The signal was weak, the Bluetooth kept cutting out, and even though I was in a 5G area, the symbol never popped up on my phone. It was super annoying, to say the least.
Dyson hair straighteners and Apple AirPods Pro
My mum absolutely loves the hair straighteners I got her from this website! They arrived super fast, but the tracking link didn't actually work. The straighteners even came with a UK plug, which was a pleasant surprise. This is the second time I've bought something from here - I got some AirPods last year and they were excellent as well.
Smartphone purchase
I bought a smartphone from Tecobuy and it came from Hong Kong. The packaging was a bit lacking in protection, just a bit of bubble wrap. However, the phone arrived safe and sound, matching what I ordered. I did struggle a bit at first to switch the phone to English because there wasn't any instructions, but I eventually sorted it out. At first, the battery was draining quite fast but after a few days, it settled. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the phone, especially since it's no longer on their website. It's a shame that Samsung only gives a charging cable with the phone at this price.
I bought something cool
I recently purchased something really cool from Tecobuy, and I have to admit, I was pretty worried at first because I had heard some negative things about them. But it turned out great! I received regular updates about my order and it arrived in just 10 days through Hermes. The delivery folks were really friendly too. I'll definitely be shopping with them again in the future.
