Mother's Day flowers
Yeah, so I ordered some flowers for Mother's Day from this place and they were pretty bad. They arrived all squashed and damaged. My mum was not happy with them, I can tell you. They did refund my daughter's money, but still, it's not a good situation. I think this probably happens quite often, which is not ideal. So yeah, I wouldn't recommend using them, to be honest.
Birthday gift purchase
I bought a birthday present for my elderly relative from this florist not long ago and, truth be told, I'm really let down by the service I got. I put in my order well in advance thinking it would get to my aunt on time and while the sun's up. But as it stands, it's 8 pm now and my flowers are still on the go, nowhere near my aunt yet. This whole thing has been a real waste of my time and energy and, personally, I wouldn't suggest this florist to anyone who wants a reliable service.
Orchid in a pot
I bought an orchid in a pot from the florist recently, with the idea of sending it as a birthday gift to Leeds. But, when it arrived, the pot was all smashed up. I got in touch with customer service and they gave me the choice of getting a refund or having a new one sent out. I went for the refund and got £20 back, since I had already found a new pot to put the plant in. It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't send the whole thing back and I felt really down about the messed up birthday pressie. I don't reckon I'll be using that florist again, it's a shame I can't let them see how wrecked the pot was in the photo.
Overpriced, disappointing bouquet
As a customer of the florist, I was really disappointed with the bouquet I ordered. I paid a lot for flowers that looked like they were arranged by someone who had never seen a flower before. The size was wrong, and the overall presentation was very dull. Even with the refund, it was still a big letdown. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone who wants a good floral arrangement. Thanks, but no thanks.
Sweet Peas
I ordered some Sweet Peas from the florist and when they turned up today, it was a right mess! The flowers were all dead, the stems were snapped, and they didn't smell of anything. I couldn't save any of them, so I had to chuck the lot in the bin. I asked for a refund straight away because I was so let down. I won't be going back to that florist, I've seen nicer flowers at petrol stations!
Gift of flowers for Mother's Day
I got some flowers from the florist as a Mother's Day gift, and honestly, I was so let down. The flowers looked sad, like they'd seen better days. It was pretty embarrassing to get such a sorry bunch, especially from a well-known shop like that. I was hoping for something way nicer from a place that's meant to have top-notch stuff.
Flowers for my birthday
I received some flowers for my birthday and they looked absolutely awful. The eucalyptus was completely messy and the roses were already turning brown. I was really disappointed with how they looked!
Valentine's day gift
I bought a Valentine's Day gift from the florist not too long ago and I must say, I was really let down by the flowers. The Emma Bridgewater jug was nice, but the flowers themselves were really underwhelming and started wilting after only a few days. I've bought flowers from other places before and never had this problem with them being such poor quality and going bad so quickly.
Fragranced bouquet purchase
I bought a bouquet of flowers from the florist the other day, and I have to say I was really let down by the quality. The flowers didn't look fresh at all, despite how nice they appeared in the pictures online. I expected them to be fragrant, as it was advertised, but they didn't smell of anything. It was quite disappointing, especially since I got them for Mother's Day to surprise my Mum. Instead of making her day special, it ended up being a bit of a letdown.
Flowers for daughter's birthday
I ordered some flowers for my daughter's birthday and was really looking forward to them arriving on time for her special day. But you know what? They turned up late! I mean, seriously, when you're shelling out a fair bit of cash for flowers, you expect them to be punctual. I was pretty gutted, and my daughter was upset too. Honestly, I wouldn't advise anyone to use this place.
Wedding anniversary flowers
On my parents' wedding anniversary, I wanted to surprise them with some lovely flowers from a plant shop. The website had lovely pictures, so I thought they'd be really good quality for the price. However, when they arrived, they looked a bit sad. They were not what I expected at all. They looked more like something you'd pick up as a last-minute gift at a petrol station, not for a special occasion. I felt so embarrassed giving those flowers to my parents. I certainly won't be ordering from them again.
Bouquets with dying roses
I recently bought two bouquets from this florist, and I must say, I have some mixed feelings about the whole thing. The first bouquet was truly beautiful, all bright and vibrant, with flowers arranged so nicely. Sadly, the roses in that one started to wither away after just a couple of days, and that kind of ruined the whole look. On the other hand, the second bouquet I got lasted a lot longer and stayed fresh. When I got in touch with the florist about those dying roses, they weren't too keen on giving a refund without a receipt. I tried my best to save the roses, but it turns out they might have been picked too soon, which could be why they didn't bloom properly.
Golden Wedding Anniversary flowers
I bought some flowers as a gift for my friends' Golden Wedding Anniversary, but I was really disappointed with the quality. The petals started turning brown and the whole bouquet was wilting after just one day. When I contacted the supplier about it, they gave me a condescending response about how to look after cut flowers. Their lack of customer service and failure to address my concerns has left me feeling really let down. I wish I had read some reviews before buying from them and now I'm sceptical about their reputation.
Bouquets from Waitrose Florist
I recently bought some bouquets from Waitrose Florist, but unfortunately, they didn't turn out as expected. I got two No 1 bouquets, but one of them started wilting after just two days and the rest were completely dead within a week despite my best efforts to look after them. I contacted Waitrose Florist about the issue, and they said they would send a fresh bouquet on Monday, but it never came, so I had to raise another complaint. It's really disappointing, especially as these bouquets were gifts from kind people meant to bring happiness, but it ended up being a big letdown. I'll have to let those who send me flowers know not to use Waitrose Florist in the future. This whole experience has really changed my view of what I thought was a top-notch company, and I hope Waitrose Florist can step up their game in the floristry department.
Next day flower delivery
I recently ordered flowers for next day delivery and I was really let down by the service I got. I received an email on the scheduled delivery day saying they couldn't deliver the flowers that day. It was so annoying because I had picked next day delivery for a reason. It's not right to advertise next day delivery if they can't actually deliver on time. I was expecting better, especially from such a well-known company like John Lewis. I hope they sort out their delivery service so they don't upset other customers like me in the future.
Flowers
I'm really disappointed with the flowers I got from this florist - they were all dried up and dead when they arrived. And when I contacted customer service about it, they were no help at all, refusing to give me a refund. I definitely wouldn't recommend this florist to anyone, it's a total scam.
Hand-tied bouquet for daughter's final year exams
I was really let down by the hand-tied bouquet I ordered for my daughter's final year exams at Uni. The quality and service were not up to scratch at all. When the bouquet arrived, it was all held together with elastic bands, which made it seem really cheap and nothing like the beautiful picture I saw online. To top it off, the box the flowers came in didn't have any arrows on it, so it was left upside down during delivery. As a result, the roses ended up looking damaged and the entire arrangement was just sad and droopy. Plus, there was no water or moisture to keep the flowers fresh during transit, which was just the final straw. I had higher expectations for a well-known brand like this. Overall, I wouldn't recommend getting flowers from them if you're looking for good quality and service.
Two bunches of flowers for my mum
I bought two bunches of flowers for my mum's birthday and they were meant to be really lovely, but they turned out looking sad and droopy. I was expecting them to be fresh and beautiful, but they were really not good value for money. I felt really let down!
Bouquet of flowers for birthday
I was so disappointed when I got the flowers I ordered for my sister's birthday. They looked nothing like the picture on the website. The hydrangeas wilted in just two days, the antirrhinums didn't last long, and the astrangias were all droopy. Plus, there was hardly any flowers in the bouquet - just loads of eucalyptus leaves, which wasn't what I wanted. I thought this florist would be really good, but they let me down with these poor quality blooms. I won't be going back to them, that's for sure.
Floral arrangement for a special occasion
I ordered a lovely bunch of flowers for a special event from an online florist not long ago. The whole ordering experience was really easy to follow, which I liked. They had a great variety of flowers and arrangements to pick from, and I managed to find just the right one for the occasion.
