I just finished a cyber security bootcamp with this company, and honestly, it was a total waste of time. The tutor didn't seem to know much about the industry and basically just read from outdated slides in class. The practice labs were a disaster too - they barely worked properly and really got in the way of my learning. To make matters worse, they promised me a certificate when I finished, but I never got one because I didn't attend a job interview. They said they'd help me get one, but all they did was send me job listings miles away from where I live. It's pretty obvious that this company is a scam, and I feel like I've been ripped off along with government money.
TQUK Level 2 Digital Marketing course
The TQUK Level 2 Digital Marketing course was amazing, it totally went above and beyond what I was expecting. The two tutors I had were super helpful and gave me really useful feedback to help me get better with each unit I submitted. It was a bit more challenging than I thought it would be, but I learned so much and gained some valuable skills that made it all worth it. I definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to boost their education and grow their digital marketing skills.
Project Management course with Mary Nanyondo
I just finished doing a Project Management course with a tutor called Mary Nanyondo, and I have to say it was really great. Mary knew her stuff and was easy to talk to, which made the course interesting and simple to follow. She wasn't just professional but also really friendly, which made it easy for all of us to ask questions and get help when we needed it. I really value all the effort Mary put in and how dedicated she was to the course, so I would definitely suggest her as a tutor.
Introductory course in SEND
As a retired nurse, I fancied a change into working with kids who have special needs and this course has given me the theory know-how I needed. It was tough but totally worth it, as I upped my academic game with each section. I reckon I'm all set to kick off my new job with special needs kids soon. Thanks a bunch.
Fantastic courses
The staff there are really friendly and always happy to chat about the courses they offer. The courses sound really interesting and could really improve your skills, which is great for enhancing your CV. You can learn just about anything if you're committed and willing to put in the work. I'm looking forward to taking some of the funded courses because who doesn't enjoy learning, hey? It's fortunate that not every country offers free courses, so I feel lucky to have discovered this place!
Understanding Nutrition and Health Level 2 Certificate course
I really loved the Understanding Nutrition and Health Level 2 Certificate course. Even though I already had a good grasp of the topic, I thought the content was really interesting and varied, with lots of extra resources available through links in the materials. The assignments were well organised and not too overwhelming, and the support I got helped me learn easily. I liked being able to make notes and go over important ideas again to make sure I understood properly. The feedback from my Assessor was really helpful and kept me motivated, which made me feel good about my progress. I'm excited to do another course in the future and would definitely recommend The Skills Network to others.
Course experience cut short
The course I signed up for was really quite interesting, but I had to stop because of unexpected things happening. And then it all went downhill. They just kept reminding me and threatening me for payment, even after I told them what was going on. It's really not on to act that way, it's left me feeling really negative about the whole thing. I'd tell anyone thinking about using this service to seriously think twice before going ahead.
Skill bootcamp in data analysis
I signed up for a funded data analysis bootcamp through the website. I filled out the form and got a welcome email, but then I heard nothing. There wasn't even a rejection message, which was a letdown. I tried to reach out with a question, but didn't get any response. It's annoying to be kept in the dark with no updates.
Online course experience
My tutor was absolutely amazing! They helped me out a lot when I was having trouble with the work. I've been dealing with some health issues, and they were really understanding about giving me extra time when I needed it. The application process for the course was straightforward, and the support team was quick to assist whenever I called them.
