if you ever see points credited, cash them out immediately. I haven't tried to claim the bigger payout yet, so if that turns into another problem I'll add an update. It's a shame because it started promising, but now it feels unreliable. Frustrating, really — and a bit sad given how useful it could have been during the move.
Left hanging after a tidy job
interface was simple, prompts made sense and I even found it surprisingly enjoyable, odd as that sounds. Then the pay never arrived. I chased them for months, fired off emails to three different addresses (including the team on the study) and mostly got silence — one auto-reply, that's it. I've dealt with other market‑research firms who at least answer, so this stood out as sloppy or worse. I'm now preparing a formal claim and will flag it to the client if needed. Annoying because the job itself wasn't the problem, the non‑payment was. Bit nagging, really.
Small leaflet, big faff
asking me to repeat details, pretending not to understand what I meant and then demanding a photo of the letter — something the leaflet never said was required. I’d already binned it. My initial doubts about getting hassled were, annoyingly, pretty spot on. It felt like they were putting up tiny hurdles on purpose, and that left me fed up — especially after I’d given them time doing surveys in the past. That said, I’m oddly grateful I kept copies of my emails and screenshots; at least I’ve got proof I tried to opt out and I can move on without wondering whether I muddled something up. I won’t be filling in Ipsos Say surveys anymore, but the experience did teach me to be firmer next time. If you’re thinking of ignoring the leaflet, don’t — act fast and keep records.
