I never got the $35. I’m writing from the middle of a week that I actually did the seven‑day drink diary with the Kantar Scope app, faithfully logging at least three drinks a day — sometimes more when I was nervously sipping on calls — and plenty of entries simply disappeared or weren’t counted. Customer support said I hadn’t followed instructions; I did, I promise, I even double‑checked my logs. It’s a glitchy mess and feels like they expect people to drink a bucket a day. Funny thing though: the app’s reminders were cheerfully annoying and did make me drink more water, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve seen the same complaints on Google Play so I’m not alone. I want the $35 I was promised and for others who completed it but weren’t paid to get theirs too.
Not worth it
Not worth it, frankly. I had their monitoring panel fitted before a long renovation because I wanted simple security while the flat was empty. We hardly used it during the work, then out of the blue and without warning someone turned up to collect the equipment — no notice, no explanation, no benefit to us. On top of that the kit was logging TV and PC/internet activity (I stopped it early after spotting odd traffic) and later two bank cards were compromised, which never happened before. Annoying.
A bit of a mixed bag
I first spotted this on a mate's Instagram and thought I'd give the beverage diary a go, so I signed up. The moment I finished and got that curt thank-you email — I felt a proper little glow, like, ah, job done, that was simple and actually quite useful. Trouble is, that’s where the good bit ended. I never saw the promised reward and emails went unanswered. So useful tool, easy to use, but customer follow-up is poor, and that left a sour note.
