the request buttons, the pitch fields, the little status updates — it all feels familiar and it’s easy to flick through brands. It’s pleasing in that bland, efficient kind of way, and I liked that at first. I had several requests approved and honestly felt hopeful. Trouble began when only one parcel actually arrived (two bottles of wine, neatly packed), and nothing else showed up. No tracking, no follow-up, just silence. I tried logging in a few days later and couldn’t get in at all; password reset failed and then, later, I found my account had been closed without any prior warning. That was annoying — and a bit baffling. I did get an apologetic-sounding email from the CEO saying they’d look into it, which I appreciated, but subsequent messages were vague and contradictory about why my account had been deactivated. One person said it was because of traffic numbers, another hinted at brand complaints — but I’d not received any of those brands’ samples, so where would complaints come from? It felt messy and a touch unprofessional. On the positive side, the single sample I did receive was well-presented and arrived in one piece, so when the system works it actually works. And I’ve used a few similar services before (some worse, some better), so I’m not new to this kind of thing; I know glitches happen. Still, the lack of clear communication and the abrupt closure of my account left a sour note. I’m mildly grateful for the one decent interaction and the initial offer to investigate, but overall I’d say they need to tighten up processes and be upfront. If they get their admin and vetting straightened, it could be useful again — for now I’d be cautious.
