a single call in March and they authorised the treatment the same day. Relief was real, I wasn't expecting that. Still, the wait was awful and could've been handled better.
Half convinced, then half relieved
I was on the fence before I signed up – mostly because insurance always feels like a hassle. I took this policy for everyday stuff, mainly my commuter bike and a couple of gadgets, so I hoped it would be straightforward. When I had to make a claim it was… slow. The portal they have is basically redundant; all the back-and-forth happened over email and I kept being asked for the same documents. The people on the call centre were pleasant and checked things for me, but they couldn't actually decide anything. After about a month and several reminders they finally sorted the claim, so my initial scepticism never totally went away, but in the end it was closed and I can at least use it without thinking it's useless.
