After using it for a week, I realised my aches had eased and I was sleeping deeper. It felt reassuringly well made too.
The night it clicked
By the third evening, I realised I was properly winding down before bed, which surprised me. A friend had mentioned PHYMAT after I’d seen it discussed in a Lyme support group. I mainly wanted help with inflammation and energy, but the calmer sleep has been the unexpected bonus. I’ve used it nearly every day since.
Not as relaxing as I’d hoped
I’ve chased several times and replies have been slow, with more pressure to keep it than clear return support. Bit disappointing, really.
The very expensive biscuit problem
Halfway through a treatment session, one of my regulars opened her eyes and said, “Right, where did you get this?” That was the point I stopped wondering whether the PEMF version was worth replacing my old full-length Phymat. I’d been fairly doubtful, having used a BioMat before, but this gives that same deeply warm, switch-off feeling in my studio. It is rather firm, mind you; straight on the floor it feels a bit like lying on a very expensive biscuit. An ergonomic topper plus a soft cover sorted it. I’d recommend planning for that extra cushioning.
