Oddly, I started craving stroopwafels and some other Dutch things I just can't get in my local shops. So I ordered and, I was wary since I'd never heard of the company. The parcel arrived after about ten days — well packed and everything still smelled fresh. The biscuits themselves felt right; not too soft, not rock hard, proper texture, and they tasted like home. Only real gripe was no order confirmation email, which made me anxious; a confirmation number would help. Overall pleased, I'd use them again.
Slow arrival, decent payoff
I saw this on a friend's shelf and ordered on impulse. At first I worried — it took ages to arrive — but when I unpacked it I was actually pleased. Not perfect, delivery could be better, but the product works as promised. I'm glad I risked it, though a heads-up would help and quite relieved.
Muddy chocolate, decent crunch
I was on the fence before ordering these cereal bars. I needed something grab-and-go because my lower back's been acting up and cooking is a faff, so thought they'd be handy for shifts. I'd tried them before and liked them, so I placed another box despite noticing that the last couple had very short best-before windows. I didn't notice the exact date on this listing, otherwise I probably wouldn't have ordered. They turned up quickly and neatly packed, but the first bar I tried had that dull, slightly stale chocolate note — not quite right, not fresh. The oat bits were still fairly crunchy though, which was the only surprising bit. I contacted customer service asking for a refund and got a standard reply saying they can't take back opened items and it's still in date, so no fault. Bit annoying, feels like you're paying near £26 for a roll of the dice. Won't order again without checking dates first, at least delivery was efficient.
Nearly closed the tab
they checked my basket, confirmed my item's weight, and applied the advertised £7.50 rather than the extra banding charge. So yes, I went ahead. First impression had swung from annoyed to impressed; the agent was clear and efficient, and I’m actually glad I pushed to ask. Still think the site could be clearer, but happy with how they handled it — grateful, really. Would recommend but check the T&Cs first, please.
