I have been online shopping for years, way before the pandemic. The staff at Sprowston Norwich click and collect are wonderful, they are chirpy, welcoming, always give 100% and great service. I very rarely receive substitutes but when I do they are almost always suitable. If they are not, it's not the end of the world.. I just pop in to see if there is something else available, because remember the staff can only pick what is available on the day. If the substitute is not suitable, just hand it back and they refund it within 48hrs. The price for click and collect is extremely reasonable especially for me who hates spending my time doing the weekly shop! I was really pleased when they expanded the collection points from 1 to 3 so more shoppers can load simultaneously. A tip for other shoppers who are less than pleased and quick to complain- try using the notes when selecting your items, you can ask for longest dates on things, specify a substitute you'd like in case of unavailability and even specify if you'd like green or yellow bananas! Well done Sprowston Norwich 🙂
Positive: As we are in isolation we have decided to get everything delivered to the house. I was personally interested to see the whole experience. I have received everything I ordered. As they didn’t have avocados they substituted it with more toilet papers and nicer bottle of wine which I am overly ok with.
Negative: We have received all groceries in 12 plastic bags which was a massive disappointment. I mean really?? 12 bags that I cannot recycle? I thought Tesco is trying to be better than Amazon in grocery deliveries - if that’s so this is definitely something they need to work on. Honestly this really put me off and because of this I don’t think I will be shopping with Tesco again. Next time we are going to try Aldi and Amazon again.
I bought these on my last order and I can honestly say they are the worst bread rolls I have ever had. They are like eating raw dough. I normally find Tesco finest to be really good quality but these have let it down. I would like to say that I have been having deliveries from you for many years now and have found all of the delivery drivers to be wonderful and a credit to the company.
I now use the click and collect service due to the virus. I had not needed this service prior to the virus. I just have to say that it was the best thing I have done. An excellent service but I wanted to say how lovely the young staff at these pickup points behave. They are kind and respectful, which is so nice.
Have a Tesco other side of the road. Never had problems, always liked. First negative feeling appear after new self-checkouts so annoying. Only card. But most annoying. When runing quickly to get something like vine before movie or before closing. And have no car keys with club card or phone for that dam ... info ... bar code. And have to pay full ridiculous price. F tesco only freaking store have this sh. I. T.. Hate!!!
Absolutely disgusted with Tescos today … shopping due 3-4pm … it’s now 9.44pm been told they can’t get shopping out ….! Told they maybe able to deliver tomorrow 2-3pm but they will have to take another payment as they’ve refunded today’s shop money …. But it won’t show on my acct for 3-5 days …. So I have to go overdrawn to pay for my shopping!! Absolutely beggars belief
Could not believe the amount of fat in these I grilled them and had a large ramekin of liquid ,when set was solid fat we threw away remaining sausages, how unhealthy is this I have nothing positive to say about this product I’m quite surprised Tesco sells these.
I had purchased a T Shirt which was unsuitable and it still had the tag attached but I was unable to locate the receipt. The Customer Services person advised that I could only exchange the T Shirt for something of a similar value of £8 or more. I was fine with that. I then returned to the desk having purchased a Bottle of Pernod and over £5 worth of vegetables. The Customer Services person proceeded to scan the items without speaking at all. Then told me how much extra I had to pay. Having completed the transaction I asked for a receipt. She advised that as I had not had a receipt for the returned item of £8 I couldn't have a receipt for the last transaction. I asked why & she advised that if I had a receipt I could then return all the latest transaction, which minus the £8 was a further £16.96. I could then request a refund of the entire amount of £24.96. I replied that I could appreciate not having a receipt for the £8 but what about the rest? I jokingly said 'What if the Pernod is off?' She replied that if items are faulty I could obviously return them. However, how could I possibly return the item to Tesco as it was not a Tesco brand and could have been purchased anywhere. She was miserable, rude and surly. I actually wrote to Tesco ... but they claimed she was correct & they do not have to supply a receipt. There are 2 large Tesco stores in Barnstaple and apart from approx 4 older members of staff who have worked there for years they are a miserable, unhelpful bunch. I am well aware of how rude some customers are as my son has worked in a supermarket for 13 years but there is not need for Tesco staff to have such a bad attitude. Unless I really need something that I cannot purchase elsewhere I no longer shop at Tesco.
My family, including an 8 month old baby, is self-isolating. We need food and medication. Two evenings in a row now Tesco has failed to deliver our essential supplies with no explanation. If you manage to press the right combination of buttons to get through to a human, they empathise, placate, offer you a £10 voucher (an insult) and suggest you try tomorrow. I did. Same thing. We are now almost out of supplies, promises that the manager will fix it and call back always come to nothing. I waited 2 hours yesterday AND this evening and nobody called back. There is no way on the website to file a complaint (surely that’s not legal?) It certainly speaks volumes about their self-confidence. Even the feedback button just takes you back to the shopping window. Covid has been around for 18 months now, are you telling me that in all that time Tesco are incapable of constructing a back-up plan? Ineptitude at its finest. But worse, we are now left with very few supplies and medication so they are actually endangering people’s lives with unreliability. 43 years I've been shopping at Tesco, and this is the thanks I get. We are tired, hungry, in pain and at our wits end and it is all Tesco's fault. I shall be putting a review on Trustpilot to suggest people self-isolating should avoid you to save their lives. I would like to leave a zero stars review but they seem to have assumed their service can't be that bad. IT IS!
still aint got my online shopping 4 hours late that if it turns up when they say for the second time .take your money striaght away but u cant get it back straight away so we are meant to starve until it comes back in your account so he gave me a money voucher how can i go get food when im waiting for my delivery im a diabetic and missed my lunch cause im waiting for delivery now my tea and insulin is taking over but do tesco care no no more online with these people they are crap got better serve in covid times
Ordered on line but earliest collection date was 6 days away.
Surprised when only half the order was there and price increased by £1.50 per bottle. Order was clear, as was collection date. Lower price quoted but higher price charged as promotion ended day before - Classic "Bait and Switch" which I didn't think Tesco would do.
Disappointing and customer care would not refund the difference despite clear evidence.
Lovely bangers, very tasty, just the right amount of seasoning and made with outdoor bred lean meat, hardly any fat left in the pan after cooking. Highly recommended and well worth the reasonable price.
