I first saw this shop on Instagram after a mate sent me the link — not exactly a planned purchase, more of a curiosity. Placed my first order and was pretty chuffed, until the bill changed after the parcel was shipped. Yeah, they added a shipping charge that I thought was meant to be free, and one of the items was no longer available so they took it off the invoice. I emailed on 7 March (or was it July? — dates blur) and they replied quickly, saying the system only lets you use one coupon and they’d put free shipping on. That reply is what flipped me from “hmm” to “actually this is fine”. There was a backorder for the other item, which I canceled eventually because I didn’t fancy waiting around for them to possibly charge who knows what. Communication was a bit clunky at first, a little confusing, but they were polite and proactive once I pushed. The moment I knew I was satisfied was when they confirmed the free shipping and sorted the refund — simple, no drama, and I felt looked after. So yes, a small wobble at the start, but overall a decent first experience. I’d tell a friend, would buy again, just double-check the final total.
Small hiccups, but pleasantly surprised
the item had to come from the warehouse rather than the local store. That made sense and felt honest, which helped. They kept me updated without sounding scripted and actually answered my awkward follow-up questions. I’ve had worse experiences elsewhere where you get zero info and then, surprise, things are late.
Did it arrive as fast as Amazon Prime? No. Was I happy it arrived at all and in good nick? Definitely. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the doom-laden posts entirely. If they keep this level of communication up, I can see people changing their tune. So overall relieved, pleasantly surprised, and grateful it wasn’t one more terrible delivery tale.Slow process but at least sorted in the end
frustrating ordering experience, yet I'm actually relieved — eventually got my money back and the whole thing didn’t end in a nightmare. I ordered what I use daily (a post-workout supplement I take every morning before the gym), and I needed it to slot into my routine, so delays mattered. Right from the off it went oddly quiet — confirmation came straight away but the tracking stayed stuck on "verified" for ages. I chased them after a few days (I wasn’t being impatient, just trying to plan meals and training), and their reply was the usual: "processed, tracking soon" — which, yes, tells you nothing. It felt like they only replied when pushed, and the explanations were the same generic stuff about transfers between warehouses or manufacturing hold-ups. Fine, that can happen, but the tone was very much: shrug and delay. A bit annoying, and it messed with my week (I had to improvise breakfasts and tweak pre-gym snacks).
After several back-and-forths and counting weekends strangely (their timeline, not mine), I opened a PayPal claim — not something I enjoy doing but sometimes necessary. The good news: PayPal stepped in and I got a refund relatively quickly. That outcome is why I’m not angrier — grateful that the money issue resolved without dragging on forever. The bad news: communication from the seller felt sloppy and sometimes evasive, and delivery times are inconsistent compared with other international suppliers I use (I regularly get items within five days from my usual place).
As for the product itself — when I finally received a replacement a little later on — it was fine, fits into my daily routine and does what I expected. Nothing magical, but it works. So if you’re thinking of ordering: be prepared to follow up, and don’t assume passive tracking updates mean anything. Use a payment method that lets you raise disputes if needed, just in case. Overall I’m glad it didn’t end badly and I appreciate the refund, but the middle part of the process could be a lot clearer and quicker. Might try them again only if I really need that specific item and I’m prepared for a slow dance of emails.
