Opening the box I realised how well packed everything was — company itself spot on, really helpful. Only snag was the courier; parcels seemed to go walkabout at home so I asked for office delivery. Customer service sorted it quickly and felt relieved.
Spotted on a mate's feed
I saw YFood on a mate's Instagram and thought I'd give it a go. Ordered ten days ago. Delivery promises kept changing — Evri texts every other day saying 'tomorrow'. Then the parcel vanished and support hasn't replied to my emails. A bit annoyed, wanted to like it but I'm waiting on a refund.
Wary at first, pleasantly surprised
Halfway through unboxing the bottles I remember thinking “oh blimey, here we go again” — I’d seen the slick ads and assumed this would be another over‑promised “healthy” fix. I scanned the label with an app out of habit and yeah, there were a couple of things that set off alarm bells — additives and a sweetener listed, which made me pause given past dodgy experiences with brands that hide the details. I messaged customer support more out of curiosity than hope, and to my surprise they were proper helpful, explained the amounts, and sent more transparency about sourcing. So I opened one bottle, gave it a go, and it wasn’t bad at all — actually quite handy for a rushed day and I felt fine afterwards. Still cautious, but grateful they answered quickly and didn’t sound defensive. Not perfect, but my doubts settled more than I expected.
Mid-sip thoughts
Funky Peanut is a mess. I’m a peanut lover, so I was keen, but this has a weird, rubbery aftertaste that actually makes me queasy. It’s not subtle — it’s the sort of thing that makes you question your life choices for a minute. If that could be reworked from scratch I’d gladly try it again. Also delivery took longer than advertised; it eventually arrived quickly once dispatched but I wasn’t told there was a backlog, which I had to chase up myself. Annoying, and a little avoidable. Overall I’d recommend trying the taster pack if you’re curious, but skip one or two flavours until they sort the peanut. My tip: buy the chocolate, and maybe get a couple of different ones rather than a bulk order — save yourself a return if you get unlucky. Would I order again? Yes, but selectively.
Doorstep disappointment (but they did finally reply)
no delivery. That’s the one detail that really stuck with me — they promised next-day but used the same slow method. If I’d known that, I’d have taken the refund straight away and avoided further faff.
Properly satisfying
Was sceptical, but on a rushed commute breakfast it hit the spot, actually.
Wasn't sure at first
I nearly didn't buy it, but delivery was fast — coconut flavour is lovely, I use it daily.
Pleasant surprise
Works well. Used them after workouts this month. First sip surprised me; flavour is decent and filling. Glad I tried them.
Low-key lifesaver
It genuinely sorted my meals — a mate suggested it when I was ill. Tasty, proper filling, saved me from bland toast; really glad I tried it.
Y food
Terrible for teeth. Very sugary and also caused me indigestion and nausea
Quiet win on site
Halfway through the first job I realised everyone actually liked it — the dry powder packs slot straight into our kit and worked better than I expected. A single-serve version would be handy.
Subscription plot twist
Not great — wrong item. I ordered chocolate and cold brew but got chocolate plus a fudge brownie. Tastes fine, bit annoying; I'm waiting for them to sort it.
Lunch lifesaver, mostly
I grabbed this because of diabetes and late lunches. It fills me up better than a sandwich. Blood sugars stay steadier. Delivery was okay but came a bit later than promised and the box was dented. Customer service sorted a query though, just took a couple of days. Glad there’s vegan choices — simple comfort food.
Boat-day lifesaver
Out on the boat they're brilliant — handy when I can't be bothered packing sandwiches. Warm, filling enough and tasty, which surprised me. Delivery's quick too. Only gripe is they're a bit on the pricey side compared to others.
That moment I knew
delivery to rural spots can be slow, so a subscription with free delivery would help.
Not quite a meal
Wasn't expecting to reach for these twice a day, but the berry and coffee ones sneaked into my routine. They’re really smooth and cold — like a tiny treat — and somehow proper full of flavour, yet they don’t actually fill me up. I drink one between work and walking the dog; surprises me every time. Bad for hunger, brilliant for a quick pick-me-up.
Drinks great, powders not so much
I was dead keen to give the products from this place a go, 'cos I'd heard rave reviews about their scrumptious drinks. But, I was proper gutted when I gave the powders a whirl. They tasted nothing like the drinks and had a grim, chalky texture that no amount of prep could fix. It's a shame cos the idea seemed dead good, but they really messed up in how they made it.
Quick and satisfying meal replacement
Why bother wasting time eating when you can just grab one of these bottles and get on with your day? I gave the sample pack a go and it's really made a difference on those days when I just don't have time to sit down for a proper meal. The flavours are really tasty, and the bottles are just the right size for when you're out and about. Plus, these drinks actually keep me feeling full for ages! Who'd have thought a shake could be so satisfying? Definitely recommend giving them a try if you're constantly on the go like I am.
YFood shakes, training, energy, recommendation
I train every day and have recently added YFood shakes to my routine. I've got to say, the results have been amazing! My energy levels have gone up, and my performance during training has definitely got better. I would recommend YFood to anyone wanting to boost their workout.
Flavours, convenience, healthy contents
The product has lots of different flavours which I like the sound of. But to be honest, some of them aren't really my cup of tea. Still, I think it's great that they use healthy ingredients and make things really easy to grab and go. The only downside for me is the prices - they're a bit steep compared to other similar products. Every now and then, I've had a few issues changing my order, but it hasn't caused any major problems so far and hasn't put me off using the products altogether.

Protein powder coffee flavour
I bought some coffee-flavoured protein powder from this place recently and honestly, it's really good! I wasn't sure at first because I've had bad experiences wit... Read onBy: Evans
