patient, apologetic and practical. I'd use them again, with a little more follow-up myself.
Relief at the finish line
locums who hadn’t read the file, a merger that meant redoing ID checks and a couple of inexplicable delays that stretched things out. It wasn’t great and the complaints team could’ve handled it better, but in the end the paperwork got sorted, the buyer stayed put and the funds arrived. Not flawless, but once it finished I was genuinely satisfied — wary, but pleased it didn’t fall apart.
Not perfect, but it finished
promised callbacks never came, emails felt like they went into a void, and updates were few. At one point we were shuffled between Butterworths, Bridge View Law and Pattinsons and I was like, seriously? Still, despite the radio silence, the matter did finally complete yesterday. Relief, yes, big relief — but it was stressful and could've been handled so much better. If you choose them, chase regularly, put things in writing and brace yourself for poor communication. Happy it finished, still wary about recommending without that warning.
Rough journey but it finished
slow replies for weeks that led to missing a deadline, then a completion notice fee and a chunky interest charge on top which felt unfair. They also kept sending documents to the wrong law firm despite being told several times, which was just so frustrating and unnecessary. Having said that, by the end they did respond and the keys were released, so I was grateful it wasn't a total disaster. My advice — if you can, choose a conveyancer who actually answers emails and keeps track of the file. It would have saved me stress and extra costs, honestly.
