Matt Palmer 2024 calendar
I recently ordered a calendar from Create and Craft, but I'm quite disappointed with how things are going. It's been a few weeks now and my order is still stuck in the "processing" stage. I'm getting a bit annoyed because they took my money straight away but haven't shipped it promptly. I've tried to get an update by emailing them, but it feels like I'm having to drag the information out of them. If I don't hear back soon, I might have to contact my credit card company to stop the payment. It's really frustrating and it's taking up a lot of my time!
Recent die purchase
I recently bought a die from the show that I really liked. The quality was excellent, and I was pleased with my purchase. However, my biggest gripe with the website is the lack of detailed images and guides for each product. They only show one picture for each item, and there are no examples of finished products or instructions available. This makes it tough for customers who haven't seen the item in action on the show to decide if they want it. Most other craft websites have lots of pictures and examples, which I think would make shopping on this site much better. It would be great to see more helpful visuals for customers to understand how to use the products properly.
Craft supplies
I am really annoyed with the terrible customer service from this company. I have contacted them several times about a problem with my order and was instructed to submit a complaint, which I did straight away. It has now been three weeks and I still haven't received any response. This kind of disrespect towards customers is not on, so I will be looking for another business to give my custom to in the future.
Craft show purchase
I purchased a few things from that crafty show on telly, but I found the presenters were waffling on about random stuff and didn't actually show us how to craft properly. On top of that, the prices were way too high!
Stencil and stamp set purchase
The stencil and stamp set I bought came in perfect condition - the packaging was really solid so everything arrived safe and sound. I was well impressed by the range available in the shop, and the stamps that come with the set are just too adorable. I love arts and crafts, so I can't wait to get started using these to make some really pretty projects.
Rare and unique items
This hobby store is absolutely amazing for collectors like me! I just love how they have such a huge range of items that you can't find anywhere else. Whether you're into coin collecting, stamp collecting, or trading card games, there's something here for everyone. I could easily spend hours just looking through all the fantastic items they have in stock.
Happy Planner purchase
I recently bought a Happy Planner from the channel as a birthday present for a mate. I was pretty happy with it overall, even though it did take a bit longer than I expected to get to me, about 10 days in total. But, I know Happy Planner shows are well popular, so the delay wasn't a big deal for me. I had to speak to customer service a couple of times, and every time it was a positive and helpful experience.
When the planner finally arrived, I was impressed by the packaging and the quality of the product. My friend loved it too. I was a bit worried about the merger that happened, but looking back, I think it's turned out alright. Although I'm not a fan of some of the new shows on the other side of the channel, I prefer sticking to our original channel for my crafting stuff. I really hope other crafting companies stick with the channel, as it's a big source of entertainment and inspiration for my crafting group.Soft craft item demonstration
I recently watched a demo for a soft craft item that was being advertised, but I was disappointed because the presenter and demonstrator mostly chatted about random things instead. Then they went on to show how to make half square triangles, which was not what I was hoping to see. It was a bit frustrating to sit through and made me wonder if the show was really worth it.
Missing items in recent order
I'm afraid I got my order from Create and Craft not too long ago, but I was let down to discover that half of my items were missing. I tried calling customer service, but I ended up waiting for thirty minutes and was still 20th in line. Feeling annoyed, I decided to send an email instead. However, the response I got was just an automatic message saying it would take 7-10 days to get a proper reply. This whole situation has left me feeling really disappointed with my experience overall.
Bag kit purchase
I purchased a bag-making kit a couple of weeks back and was really looking forward to making my own bag. But when I opened the kit, I realised there wasn't enough fabric to complete the straps. I tried sending them a few emails to inform them, but I didn't receive any response! I was quite disappointed because I was so excited about making the bag.
Craft supplies
My experience with the company was really disappointing. The items I ordered were delivered late and in a pretty sorry state, with some missing and one even faulty. When I got in touch with customer service to raise these issues, they asked for photos as proof. I sent them over, but even after waiting for 7 days, only half of the missing items arrived. When I asked about the remaining item, they said I needed to return a £14 item first, without explaining how to do so. They also claimed the missing item was in the photos I sent, even though it wasn't. Overall, I found their customer service to be lazy, unhelpful, and just not up to scratch.
Too much of the same
I'm really let down by the lack of variety and diversity in the presenters on Create and Craft. It used to be a really enjoyable channel to watch, but now it feels like one person is always on screen. I don't feel as excited to tune in anymore because it's always the same people and products. It's just not the same without the different presenters we used to have.
Stamping kit purchase
I bought a stamping kit from Create and Craft recently, but I never got it. They gave me a delivery code, but the package was never sent out. I tried contacting customer service a few times, but they never got back to me. Honestly, my experience with this company was really bad.
CrystalArt calendar replacement
Recently, I had to get in touch with Create and Craft customer service because there was a missing page in my CrystalArt calendar. Even though I've been a customer for a long time, I was a bit let down by how slow and uncommunicative they were. After quite a few phone calls, they finally told me on 1st February that they didn't have any replacement stock, so I'd be getting a refund instead. Feeling annoyed by the wait, I decided to take matters into my own hands and just bought the replacement from the supplier's website using the refund from Create and Craft. It was super easy and made me realise how lacking Create and Craft's customer service can be when it comes to sorting out problems.
Overpriced items
I recently bought something and I'm still waiting for something I ordered way back in March. At this point, I think it's safe to say that I'll never get it. I tried to get in touch with customer service, but it was like they didn't even exist - couldn't even get through on the phone. I feel like I wasted my time and money on this purchase. The things that did come weren't anything special, just cost more than they should have. It looks like everything comes from different suppliers anyway, so I might as well just go straight to them next time. And the amount of packaging for such a tiny item just made the postage cost seem even more ridiculous. After this whole thing, I won't be ordering from them again, even if I'm a member.
Still Waiting for Orders
Hi everyone, just wanted to share my experience with ordering from Create and Craft. I made some orders in mid-December last year and it all seemed good initially. However, I received a membership as a gift and decided to place more orders between 23rd and 28th December 2022. And would you believe it? Six of my orders haven't even moved past the processing stage yet! It's bizarre that some orders shipped while others are still stuck in processing. I'm hoping they can resolve this quickly because I'm really eager to get my craft supplies!
Freedom membership with Roku stick promotion
I've just got the Freedom membership with the promotion for a free Roku stick. But then, 2 months down the line, I got a message saying they can't give me the stick and offering me £10 credit instead. It's not on and it goes against ASA rules. I'm going to complain about this.
Craft supplies
As a customer, I'm really disappointed to learn that the company might change ownership and even shut down. It's worrying that all the employees might lose their jobs and people like me might not get our orders. It's even worse to hear that it's all because of one person in the accounts team causing financial problems. I really hope that everything gets sorted out fairly and quickly for everyone affected.
Disappointed with lack of variety
I've been a member for a while now, and I have to say I'm not too impressed with the website lately. It feels like they keep showing the same companies day after day, and a lot of the smaller craft businesses don't get a chance to shine anymore. The presenters have also changed over time, and some of them just don't seem to represent the brands well during their demos. I really miss the old days when we had more variety and interesting presenters on the channel. Nowadays, I only tune in if there's something I'm specifically interested in because the repetitive shows have started to feel a bit dull.
Overpriced embossing folder
I was just watching Create and Craft earlier, you know, with John Next Door, and they were showing off this really nice embossing folder with poppies. It was priced at £7.99, or £7.19 if you’re in the club. Anyway, I was interested, so I looked it up online and saw the exact same thing being sold for a much lower price at a different store. And the shipping costs were more reasonable too. It kind of bummed me out to see Create and Craft charging so much when you can get it cheaper elsewhere. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying from them – watch out for those inflated prices!

Letting us down
Dear me create and craft, you really are letting crafters down. Since August 2017, you have offered us no new crafts, demonstrations are constantly interrupted by inane comments... Read onBy: Robin Shaw
