I signed up because I needed my credit cleaned up for a mortgage application and, to be honest, I half expected the usual carry-on. At first they did two dispute rounds — employment/address and a couple of accounts — so I thought, okay, maybe this will work. Then everything went quiet. The portal still shows "disputing" every month but my score hasn't moved and there’s been no real contact. I tried ringing my counsellor, left messages, waited over a week only to get a callback later than useful, so I cancelled. Felt like I wasted about £500. Still sceptical and not convinced they were doing much after month two.
Quick turnaround
By the time I was half way through the second month I was already thinking "blimey, that was fast". I signed up because the price was decent and expected the usual faff, but they just got on with it — disputed a bunch of accounts, chased collection agencies and kept sending updates. I'd tried another company before who only did a few disputes at once and charged more, so I was a bit wary, but these guys replied to my emails quickly and actually showed copies of letters they sent. Not flawless — there were a couple of slow patches — but overall the delivery was reassuring and the customer service changed my mind.
Strange morning, better night
polite, patient, explained things in plain language (even when I asked the same daft question twice). There were a few slow moments — one dispute took longer than I expected and an email was a bit vague — but they followed up and fixed it. So far about seventeen items have been removed and my scores are nudging up, slowly but surely. It’s not perfect, there’s more to do, and I still check my file nervously, but I actually have hope now. Properly grateful for the help — it’s doing what I needed it to do.
A small win that changed things
get those negative items off my report and see a real difference in the numbers. The moment I knew I was actually satisfied came about a month in. I logged in, saw one of the problem listings had disappeared — not a small thing, that — and then checked my scores and they’d climbed noticeably. That little confirmation, plus the fact that every time I messaged them I got a reply in under 24 hours, was when my scepticism flipped to relief. Communication felt personal, not some canned replies, which matters more than I thought. Could I have kicked that item off myself? Maybe, maybe not — but the speed and the follow-through made it worthwhile. There are still questions about what will happen long-term, and I’m keeping an eye on whether they keep working or just send the first batch and coast. For now, upgrading my gut feeling to pretty positive. Not expensive, not ridiculously cheap either, but fair for the pace and the results I’ve seen so far. If you’re cautious like I was, give them a go but keep checking in; the one little win I got was enough to change my mind.
Slogging through silence
this place has some sensible ideas — payment options being the most useful surprise — but unless they sort their customer contact and tone up their follow-up, I wouldn't recommend relying on them. For anyone who, like me, has had better experiences elsewhere, it might be worth going back to a company that actually picks up the phone and says what they're doing.
