I grabbed this box because rainy afternoons and a very fidgety 2½‑year‑old were turning me into a frazzled craft referee. Turned out lovely — simple bits, soft cardboard and chunky glitter that didn’t go everywhere (big win). We made a few decorations together, he loved tearing paper, I did the fiddly bits. Not perfect — one sticker refused to behave — but proper, easy fun that didn’t wreck the kitchen.
Unexpected little win
Halfway through the first card I realised it actually worked — I’d been dubious about these kits, not very handy and all that. The pack had every bit you need and the step-by-step was simple, so my daughter surprised us with little Christmas cards. If you’re wary but want an easy project with toddlers, give it a try — maybe include a spare glue stick.
Halfway lifesaver
a couple of bits could be sturdier, and the price felt a touch high. Still, glad we tried it — I'd recommend spacing activities out and buying an extra glue stick.
Small wins on messy days
I remember mid-morning, unpacking the box and thinking 'oh right, this could be one of those gimmicks' — but then both kids vanished into their own little world, so I relaxed. My four-year-old adores the kits and the two-year-old joins in with a few tweaks, messy but happy. It's become our easy rainy-day thing and even a calm bit before dinner. Not perfect, a bit fiddly sometimes, but properly makes their day — and mine.
Not bad for a rainy afternoon
a couple of pieces were fiddly for tiny hands, but overall I'm pleased.
Garden chaos turned useful
Sunday morning, small bits of rice and glitter everywhere — and I was half annoyed, half amused. I wasn’t convinced when we ordered, thought it might be toy-of-the-month fluff, but the boxes have been genuinely handy. My three-year-old can reach everything without help and spends ages sorting textures, building the little hats and leaping about in the space-themed game. We use them at the kitchen table or out on the lawn; the superhero masks get regular duty at zoom-time. Practical, tactile and not just plastic junk.
