earrings from Etsy
Bought a few earrings online from someone on Etsy. They took quite some time before they arrived at my doorstep (more than two weeks), I don't know why.
But the earrings were very lovely. I really couldn't have found those in a regular store, so I am very happy with them!handicraft gifts
I really love Etsy, I buy most gifts from this website, because it is unique and I like handicraft.

I had a problem with a purchase from a company in India, and will probably avoid ETSY as much as I can in the future. 0 support in a refund request or resolution. I had not appreciated that a seller does not accept refunds and that's deemed acceptable. I returned an item 6 months ago not accepting the original delivery and by the time I received Paypal resolution the item was returned to him automatically. Paypal closed the case and I have yet to get my money back. Quite disheartened.
Disgusted How They Treat Sellers!
I have been with Etsy for 8+years and have a 100% good rating on sales with buyers. no issues and no charge backs in 8 years. suddenly they changed their stance with my account and wanted to hold back most of my money for 45 days ? for no reason and had no explanation for it. I made a complaint and they just said tough. like it or lump it

Wouldn't even give 1 star!!!
Made a few orders with Etsy in the past and not had any problems until this year!! The issue is not so much with the shops (some arr absolutely amazing), its Etsy customer service I rate so poorly! I found them extremely patronising, unhelpful, they try to deflect, contradicting themselves and attempts to pass the blame!! Mo accountability whatsoever!!

My advice would be to look into each shop before your purchase, and be prepared to not get anywhere, if you need to use Etsy customer services! Absolutely shocking!!!
