I first spotted them on Instagram after a mate tipped me, so I thought I’d give their photo book a go with a few extra pages. Delivery was actually pretty quick and the packaging was fine, but the cover had the wrong date — ten years out, which was annoying. Customer service was slow to begin with and a bit defensive; they admitted the mistake but initially wouldn’t replace it or refund me even after I sent screenshots and photos. After a few nagging messages someone finally arranged a corrected copy and a small goodwill gesture. Could be smoother, but resolved.
Dodgy express, decent refund
Honestly, don't trust their "express" service — felt like I paid extra for stress. Ordered on Sunday, told Wednesday, I rang the same day and they pushed it to Friday, then radio silence. They keep telling you to contact them but every reply goes to a bot and there was no tracking link to calm me down. Weirdly, I did get a refund about a week later, which surprised me — fair play for that. Still, I'd tell mates not to pay for speed here; ask for tracking or just buy somewhere else, really.
A present that nearly didn't make it
Google said despatched on the 12th, Royal Mail kept showing different expected dates (21st, then before 29th), and the seller's listing still claimed delivery in time for Christmas. No-one really knew. In the end the parcel turned up on Christmas Eve. The books themselves? Nice enough to read — decent paper, tight-ish binding, cover grubby from the bag but otherwise fine. For over £100 I expected better packaging and clearer communication; a simple email saying "sorry, delay" would have gone a long way. I know delays happen, but a heads-up costs nothing and would help. So, mixed feelings — glad to have them and they're useful, but pretty disappointed by the whole experience. Tip: order earlier or pay for tracked delivery if you can't risk it.
Finally gone, after a proper palaver
after I asked about privacy, support admitted there was a mistake in how sharing was handled. Minutes after ordering, a shared link appeared that let anyone view and even buy images. I spent several days chasing them, deleting my account, getting mixed messages, and generally nagging. The photos stayed online longer than they should have. So the relief — and slight smugness — came when I checked the link and it was dead. No fanfare, just the quiet click of “not found”. That was all the reassurance I needed.
Emotionally: drained by the process, but genuinely relieved at the end. If you need privacy first, be cautious and be prepared to follow up hard. If you just want a decent delivery and don’t mind poking support, it’s workable. For me, the final confirmation that the images were removed made it worth staying on top of them.Solid all‑rounder
it did what I needed and I’m glad I went with it. I used the site last month when I was in a rush and, to be honest, relied on my instincts rather than any help pages. The site felt intuitive, though I did stumble a bit when I started the project, left it and came back — voucher codes worked but the flow confused me for a moment. Ordered two copies, both arrived well ahead of the deadline, tracked the whole way, which was reassuring. Postage felt a touch pricey, I noticed that, but I accepted it rather than faff about. Communication was clear, and I liked the option to forward to friends and the electronic preview — a small bonus I hadn’t expected. Paper, binding, covers and print were all fine; there’s also the choice to pay for higher‑grade options if you want. Dry summary: useful, reliable, a few minor annoyances, but overall pleased it worked out.
Slightly surprised, in a good way
colours are true, paper feels right, and the software is easy to get to grips with, so I fiddled a lot. I've had five made, softback and hardback, and I'm thinking of a bigger run — maybe twenty if they do bulk rates. Pleasantly impressed, honestly.
