I did the Level 4 Academy Governance course while juggling work and evenings. At first it was a mess — new platform, loads of glitches and they even sent out pass emails to people who’d actually failed. I was properly annoyed. There was barely any guidance on the assignment, just a short chat early on and that was it. About a third of us failed, mainly the written task. We complained. Then a tutor rang me, went through the feedback step by step and pointed out exactly what to change. That was the moment I felt satisfied — really satisfied — because I knew how to resubmit. I even used some of the bits straight away in meetings at work, which actually helped. It wasn’t perfect, but it helped.
