I signed up a few weeks ago, mostly doing surveys in the evenings while watching telly, and at first it felt fine. Then I hit about £16 and one survey went weird — kept telling me I’d already done it and booting me back to the start. For days it sat there and I got no new ones, which made me doubt if it was worth the time. I messaged support and got a blunt "you've already done it" reply, which annoyed me, but after a bit of back-and-forth they eventually sorted it. I ended up getting a £10 Woolies voucher, so I’m actually pleased I stuck it out.
Halfway to a fiver
radio silence. Today they emailed asking me to update my profile and mentioned surveys coming soon; I'm annoyingly three points off a £5 voucher, which felt a bit daft. I was sceptical again, but within a couple of days a short poll arrived and actually paid out, which surprised me. So my doubts have eased, mostly.
Points promised, points not delivered
check terms before you start and don’t invest a long block of time in one unless the credit is guaranteed up front. In short, product-wise it works sometimes, but delivery of the promised reward and the service around it need work. Not a total scam in my view, but it’s shaky and frustrating — and that’s worth knowing before you sign up.
Hit-and-miss but getting better
expect bumps and don’t rely on it for steady income.
Misleading 20-minute survey, ended up losing time
I was doing these surveys between tasks, the sort of thing I do to squeeze in a few extra points while making tea or between calls. This one said 20 minutes, I clocked 42 and it still didn’t end — long pages of questions that felt like they repeated themselves. I’m fine with a longer survey now and then, but what annoyed me most was the lack of any points or a proper follow-up after I quit; I’d have stuck it out if the reward matched the time. I emailed them, got a polite reply saying incentives will be awarded to eligible members once the study closes — fair enough in theory, but two weeks later no points, and that’s the bit that stings. I get delays happen, data needs processing, but don’t promise a 20-minute job if it’s not even close, and don’t leave people hanging without checking completion status for a long time. On the plus side, their replies aren’t rude; the customer rep was polite and apologetic. Still, for my day-to-day use — topping up small treats or putting groceries on the tab with a few surveys — this felt like wasted time. Slightly disappointed, and I’ll be more cautious with claimed durations next time.
