A friend told me about this website with smart and humorous women, and I've got to say, it's been a right laugh! The matches I've been getting have been spot on, and I've had some cracking chats with some really clever people. The website is easy to use and the whole thing has been a real pleasure.
3 months of dating fun
I've been on this dating site for about 3 months now and I've had such a great time! I've met some really cool girls and had some fun chats getting to know them. I'm really pleased with how it's going and I'm looking forward to more exciting dates in the future!
Scam tactics
When I signed up, I found out that this platform tricks people into buying a subscription. You think you're getting messages from potential partners, but they're actually just automated. And if you try to cancel, they make it really hard by hiding the confirmation deep in the fine print, so you have to chase them. They even send scary emails demanding payment for a subscription you already cancelled, which just makes the whole experience more stressful. And then they go and block your account, making it even more frustrating to try and deal with their shady ways.
Subscription Fraud
This company I signed up for turned out to be a total scam. Can you believe, even after I cancelled my subscription in time during the trial, they went ahead and charged me for 3 more months without even asking me first? I've been trying to reach out for a refund, but they've just been ghosting me, not replying to my emails at all. I feel totally let down and stuck in this situation.
Subscription cancellation issue, misleading academic focus
I'm afraid to say that this company has been rather dishonest in my opinion. Even though I cancelled my subscription before the trial ended, they still took £120 from me for a 3-month fee. And what's more, the website claims to be focused on academics, but there's no check to see if users are actually students or professionals. It looks like profiles are being used over and over again and don't really represent a real academic community. I would really recommend that other people steer clear of this platform.
Premium Subscription
I had very disappointing experience. From the beginning they trick me with a money. The moment you pay them, they making very difficult to cancel your subscription, they definitely don’t want to return you money, and making sure that you renew your subscription, because it’s very difficult to cancel,very frustrating. Service, what they promised, they never provide. I would not recommend to anybody to use this dating service. I feel very unsafe there, this company can not be trusted.

so was lured into opening an account by blurred-out seemingly genuine messages; paid £100 to join then found they were autobots, total scam, Buyer beware. AS blocked me from using the account as I blocked the payment, so couldn't confirm was within my rights under Consumer Act 1975. Now have debt-collector chasing with further costs. Buyer beware - avoid this scam site, horrible experience.

I figured out how fake the site was on my first day there, cancelled and got charged the next day for 3-month membership. I had to block my bank card. The only dating site that I trust now is

signed up, realised it's a scam so cancelled. Now being threatened with debt collectors for not renewing! Can't access account to obtain proof of timely cancellation. Avoid at all costs, total con and very stressful.
