I only wanted a handful of cans for late shifts and to stop me dozing at the wheel, but trying to ask the company a simple question turned into a daft little saga. Their contact page keeps throwing maths questions at me — every time I answer one, a new one appears and the form won't send. Felt like being quizzed by a particularly stubborn calculator. The cans I got did the job (taste and fizz were fine), so it's not all bad, but the lack of proper support is worrying, especially after reading Amazon threads about empty cans. Bit of a shame — decent product, dodgy customer experience. I’d be cautious and maybe buy somewhere with proper backup.
Midnight realisation
a couple of percentage points steadier after each dose, especially in the early morning. It's not dramatic, but that small, consistent nudge was enough to change how often I felt breathless. Surprised me, really—didn't see it coming, and I kept a log.
The hiss I never heard
I ordered a few cans back in early April because I fancied having a spare for hikes and the odd panic-breath — you know, just in case. Never arrived. I chased them a few times, left a review and then, odd enough, they did reply saying the courier “lost” it and they'd resend. That was a month ago. So I'm left imagining how it would feel — the cool hit, the little can in your hand, the relief — rather than actually enjoying it. They keep dodging follow-ups and then tried to blame the subdomain I ordered from, which felt like talking in circles. Slightly relieved they at least acknowledged the problem, but not thrilled overall. Bit of a mess, really, would’ve been nice if it was straightforward.
Mixed bag — works sometimes, not for anything critical
don’t rely on these as a lifeline. They’re fine for a bit of a boost on a cold day or a long hill when you’re gasping, but I wouldn’t keep one as my only back-up for asthma or serious situations. I bought two 10-litre canisters because I wanted something portable for weekend hikes and because a previous canister from another brand had let me down. The first of the two worked exactly as I expected — felt like a proper top-up. The second, though, was essentially empty after a few minutes. That’s annoying and a real let-down.
I reached out to customer service — initially dead air, which made me cranky, but later they offered to replace the faulty unit. Fine, that calmed me down a bit. Sadly the replacement process dragged on far longer than promised, and when the replacements finally turned up I had the same problem again. So at that point I felt like the company had inconsistent quality control. It’s messy: sometimes the cans do the job, sometimes you get a dud. Customer responses were polite but slow and didn’t feel like a solid resolution.
Why I still don’t bin them entirely: when the canisters work, they do a decent job and the price isn’t terrible for occasional use. Why I won’t fully trust them: the variability and the delays make them unsuitable for anything high-stakes. If you want one for casual use and don’t mind a gamble, go ahead. If you need guaranteed performance for health reasons, look for something with a proper warranty and faster, clearer service. I’d buy again only if I had no other option and only after checking returns and testing immediately on arrival. Not another dodgy order
no apology, no meaningful follow-up, just silence and promises of emails that never arrived. I did get a little pragmatic after that. I rang my card provider and they were reassuring — they said they’d investigate a refund claim if needed, and that actually calmed me down a lot. So while the experience with the seller was poor, at least there’s a safety net; the bank seems set to pick up the slack if this company won’t. It’s a pity because the item was intended for an elderly relative who couldn’t order herself, and that added to the frustration. I won’t pretend it was sorted by the seller — it wasn’t — but I am hopeful this will be resolved via the card company. Would I use them again? Not likely, and I’ll tell the grandkids to steer clear too. Minor positives: the payment provider was responsive and decent. Major negatives: non-existent email confirmations and a customer service team that hung up twice. Buyer beware, but do have a fallback plan — your bank.
