I ordered lab coats because I’d started a new rota and, honestly, my back can’t keep wresting with ancient, stiff coats — needed them sooner rather than later. Placed the order on 14 Feb and then... radio silence. No shipping email, no update. I rang 27 Feb and was told they were backordered (which wasn’t on the site and I hadn’t been told), then rang 6 Mar and was given a new ship date of 14 Mar. On 18 Mar it turned out they’d been discontinued — again, no email, still showing on the site. The chatty bit is that one rep was properly apologetic and said they’d try to chase it, but after that it was all “we’re initiating cancellation” and a refund timeline that felt like forever. If you need reliability, don’t bank on this lot. I’ll be calling my card issuer if the refund isn’t sorted next week.
Let down when it mattered most
confirmation email, that kind of thing, so we held our breath and tried not to panic. Then nothing. No tracking, no proper updates, just silence for over a week while we were juggling shifts and trying to keep him comfortable. It got so awkward my mum’s boss ended up phoning them — yes, his boss — because we were running out of options. Only after that call did they post it, and even then it turned up two days later than we needed. I’m not saying they were out to do harm, but the lack of urgency and communication was brutal when you’re using this as part of everyday care. It arrived, we used it for the little time left, and I felt a tiny bit relieved it worked, but that relief is mixed with anger and grief. Would I recommend them? Not for urgent needs. If you’re planning ahead and can tolerate loose communication, maybe — but for anything critical, no. I wanted to trust them; that trust took a real knock.
