the stones were just soldered into their settings, no backing reinforcement, nothing at the top to keep it secure. It felt flimsy, cheap, like you could bend it once and start losing stones. I emailed customer service and they didn’t deny it — they admitted the build was poor and said they’d redesign the piece. They even sent drawings showing how they’d improve it, which was… well, something. Trouble is, the illustration of the original didn’t match what I’d been sent, so trusting them felt awkward. I asked for some form of compensation — a discount at least for the trouble and time — and that was turned down. So I stopped the purchase. I’m actually a bit relieved things didn’t get worse — delivery was prompt and they responded rather than ghosting me, unlike some places I’ve dealt with before. Still, I can’t recommend buying from them on the basis of build quality and their refusal to offer any decent resolution. If you’ve had better service elsewhere, you’ll know how it should be handled: quick delivery, clear communication and some practical resolution. Here you get two out of three, maybe, but not the part that matters for jewellery. Bit annoying, but at least it was sorted quickly, even if not properly.
Long customs slog
It’s odd — I never even got to use the thing. My order sat in customs for ten days because they didn’t send the right paperwork. Every reply was the same blanket email blaming FedEx, while customs told me it was the shipper’s fault. They promised a reply in 24–48 hours but rarely did, so I had to chase. I cancelled in the end; surprisingly cancelling online was straightforward. Their tone felt scripted and impersonal. Compared with other firms who sort customs quicker, this was slow and annoying. I’m still waiting on the refund.
