Not great, not terrible — muddled warranty handling 2 May 2026

photos, videos, detailed descriptions, confirming serial numbers three times. It’s the sort of thing you accept if it works, but it felt unnecessary when they’d already agreed to a replacement.
Using the charger while it still mostly worked was straightforward — the cable is comfortable, the connector clicks in, the build feels decent for the price. The surprise was how intermittent the fault was: sometimes it would charge fine, other times it would refuse to authorise, which made the whole thing unpredictable. That unpredictability is what I hated most; a home charger should be boring and reliable.
Customer contact lacked automation — they explicitly asked me to message them once the return was posted because they don’t get automatic notifications. That’s telling, isn’t it? It suggested internal processes are manual and a bit fragile. I’ve had worse service from smaller companies, and better from bigger names, so this sits somewhere in the middle. Eventually they did send the label and said they’d process the replacement once they saw the returned item in stock. Reasonable, but drawn out.
If you’re deciding between this and a Tesla-branded charger: this one is cheaper and feels fine to use, but there’s a risk it may fail within a couple of years (that was my experience). If you value peace of mind and smoother support, spending more on the Tesla unit might be worth it. For now I’d say the product itself is okay, but the warranty handling needs proper automation and fewer back-and-forths.
