I first saw this on Instagram and my sister actually messaged me to say “buy it” so I did — ordering was painless and the price seemed fine. Trouble was the tracking never left the country and the replies from customer service were a bit baffling (like they weren’t quite on the same page). I ended up opening a PayPal dispute and, annoyingly, it took almost two months before I finally got a refund (20 May). They never answered PayPal, which slowed things right down. Still, relieved it was sorted in the end and I’ve warned a couple of mates at work. Bit frustrating but lesson learned — use PayPal, honestly.
Thin but pretty jumper
Right, so I wear this cashmere jumper most mornings — to stroll the dog, to make coffee, to pretend I’m tidier than I am. It looks and feels soft, really lovely on the skin, but it’s much thinner than I expected. I end up with a camisole underneath on chilly days because it’s not the cosy layer I hoped for. I ordered a size up thinking it might bobble or shrink into something denser after a wash; gave it two gentle washes and it stayed exactly the same, no luck there. Colours and finish are nice though, and it’s fine for milder weather. Just not the heavy, snuggly jumper I was aiming for.
