Oddly enough the paper feels really nice, binding could be firmer though. Ordering and customising on the site was painless, and shipping was fairly quick for international delivery.
Child-approved little book
Liked it — my kids love spotting themselves throughout the book. Saw it on Facebook, ordered, arrived okay; a couple dodgy pages but proper fun overall.
Small but meaningful
my lad finally sees himself in a story, which we needed after lots of generic books. The colours and detail are great and he’s glued to it, though the tale is quite short — still, proper emotional moments.
Instant favourite
Totally worth it — my little one absolutely adored her book. She kept grinning at the personalised avatar, couldn't stop. Lovely thick pages and bright illustrations, feels properly made. We've tried others before and this one's by far the nicest.
Quietly pleased
I half expected a generic book, but the moment my daughter ran to the page and said 'that's me' I relaxed. It's mostly name and DOB, so I wish there were more things to tweak — friends, pets, town — but it did the job.
Birthday let-down
This was meant to be a gift for my niece's birthday, so I'm honestly gutted — ordered the book in April, chose shipping, but it still hasn't turned up. Third time I've used them and, to be fair, the site was easy, but missing the actual day was annoying, and a bit embarrassing for them, really. Won't risk ordering again.
Nice find, delivery slow-ish
Spotted this on Instagram and ordered after my sister sent a photo — ended up telling a mate about it as well. The personalised story is lovely, my little one keeps pointing at 'himself' on every page (which was a nicer surprise than I expected). Pages are properly sturdy so no torn corners, and colours are bright without being garish. Ordering was straightforward, customer service helpful although replies took a day or two, and delivery came a bit later than quoted, but acceptable.
Slightly bumpy start
I opened it on a rainy evening after a long day and, to be honest, the weight and finish surprised me — feels proper sturdy, not cheap. I started using it the next morning and the controls are smooth; it's exactly the sort of thing you pick up without thinking. Shipping hiccup slowed things down and I was a bit annoyed, but the support team sorted it fast and genuinely helped. So overall I'm happy, a little worn by the delay, but pleased with how it performs.
