Not what I expected 7 April 2026

Strange start — I actually spotted this after a colleague mentioned it in passing, and I thought “okay, seems useful”, so I ordered. The checkout itself was fine, no drama there, but the problems began with delivery and their customer service. The parcel arrived later than promised and tracking updates were sparse, but that was just the start. When I tried to return the unopened item (we changed our minds), it turned into a full-time job. They insist on photo evidence at every single step, and won’t tell you the next move until they’ve checked what you’ve already sent. Each stage takes ages because replies come from a remote office and they only work through one step at a time. Meanwhile they keep nudging you to keep it, even offering cash to do so, or suggesting you sell it to someone else — which felt like pressure rather than help. At one point they asked me to send the sealed product to a third party in another region and gave me three days to arrange it. Three days! After a month of back-and-forth I finally did it, sent more photos proving I’d packaged it correctly, and then had to notify them again when the other person received it (and provide proof). The refund was eventually issued but only after more waiting, and they deducted a restocking fee plus I covered postage. I never opened the box so I can’t comment on product quality, but the whole returns and delivery experience was exhausting and far too complicated. A shame, because the item looked promising — just not worth the hassle if you think you might need to return it.
